For me, It's none other than the achal singh.. The dhawalgar king.. He is a king, but has no political shrewdness. He even didn't think once to confirm the deal with Jalal. He never thought at least to meet jalal and to place his demand directly before him. What I feel that he deliberately avoided any meeting with Jalal before the marriage..Had he sensed that Jalal wouldn't handover the fort so easily and so He planned to arm twist Jalal at the marriage ceremony so that jalal couldn't back out so easily, and to save sukanya's marriage he handover the fort.. Otherwise why, being an experienced king,he handled the thing so naively..? I am so pissed at the king, that if I have got his neck in my hand,I would have wringed it.. His naivity and greed twisted the whole situation so badly taking so many relations at stake..

Frankly speaking pallavi, this debate can go on forever...

While there are Rams in this world there are Krishnas in this world too..some can Hail Lord Ram's straightforward honest path as the right way ahead and some might argue that only Lord Krishna's ways could have ensured Good over Evil in Dwapara Yug!

Therefore...me supporting a more tedi-approach that Jalal has
1) Its more entertaining to watch
2) RT is a treat in such scenes!
3) For every Emperor/ruler that's been termed 'Great' their chronicles would have depicted at least some of such underhand tactics against his enemies!
I also don't think Great Emperor necessarily means righteous Emperor - unless and until an Emperor adapted the 'Be Rome in Roman' policy, his kingdom would have been like a sitting duck for his enemies!
Yes, the 'Great' tag could signify 'Gaining and keeping power in generally just means' though

I feel everyone is at fault in their own way.

I am not justifying any one, what I wanna say is, it's the dhawalgar king's NAIVITY in political matter which has twisted the situation so badly..
