Agree...he is doing all this just for his pride...his main motive to participate in this wedding was just to win the hearts of Amer praja not for jodha...he never supported jodha infront of his people(MA, Ak, sharifuddin)...so how can we say he has developed love for jodha..

look jalal is upset over dhawalgarh king's sudden demand. he wants to teach a lesson to tht king. he wants to convey the message tht noone can blackmail an emperor. he believes tht, the king had dared to blackmail the shahenshah, he wants to give it back to him. his plan has nothing to do with any revenge or love game. yes he is not thinking about the future consequences, but his plan is not against jodha. his plans r against those people, who had dared to ask his fort. obviously, this will break many hearts but he is not doing it for any revenge plan against jodha.

It was for Jodha, not out of love.. he cares about jodha and sukanya as well. he told Hamida suknya ki fikr humien bhi hai. Another reason why he took this responsibility was to make up for the wrong he did during the Miscarriage incident. He is also trying to make up for it.

Its not wrong for an Emperor to want to win hearts of praja - better than threatening them to submission...

About supporting, he doesn't really get involved in harem politics and the Emperors rarely did! Women were administrators of their own harem and

He's supported her when it matters most - suicide track, he didn't question her abt the bullets, he listened to her cutting-head demands, he listened to her rant about die outside Amer etc etc...

Also, he never claimed he's developed love for Jo...fair enough, I don't think she loves him yet either...😆
