I for one had thought, he would be injured, she would treat then using the herbs in the jungle to the extent they reach back the tent, they spend the nite together 😉 in the tent before heading to Agra...
Any case back to reality, since he was fatally injured, yup made sense that he headed straight home.
Also loved the tiger/rain scene, couldn't have been better...
Now that dream... Am not sure was edited well..seemed like a stuck up DVR player to me.
Overall good episode, could've have been better considering the stellar Dargah episode on Friday, but seems like the story is progressing well so no complaints.

That dream seq and then rewind was 🤣

The guy was going unconscious and she was wondering as to what everyone's reaction would be???Seemed a bit out of place. Leave alone the way they showed it!(Rewind part)

my thoughts exactly, although CVs took a diff route then what we thought n hoped for it was a much more sensible n realistic , if our family member gets injured inroute somewhere we will rush towards a hospital or back home not start treating him with some jaadibuti

the jadu booti bit would have also been nice...but, in a different way..however it IS more cliched..this was different...
also, they were en-route to Agra anyway..

All's well and Jalal will be fine after some time... and he will get the best trained nurses that Mughal Sultanant has to offer..

Who will let Jodha begum near him?
How will she nurse him?
Someone better let her near him...the CVs have promised us that much 😆 if THAT doesn't happen either the CVs have taken us for a royal ride..or they changed the track in the last minute which makes no sense again..
Plus,, unless there is some quality alone time between them, how will love happen?
Today's alone time between them was more quality than any of the ALONE times they've been together...Jodha's learnt lessons innumerable and so has Jalal...and I really do hope we get alone time with them in Agra...Arthi, sword, vase, poetry, suicide all of them were alone scenes between them..similarly we'll get nursing scenes too...btw, how come the rescue attempt by a brave princess not get any words from you..THAT scene made me go 😭 with Jodha-pride!

Jodha getting a slap from Ruqquaiya was cringe worthy...
See, don't get me wrong, Akbar may have 300 wives and he may like many of them. But this serial is Jodha Akbar... not Ruquaiyya Akbar. Currently Jodha's limelight is almost equal to Ruquaiiay Begum... in fact less! Where's the special treatment? As per history they might have co-existed... but this is serial ! And like it or not it is being watched for 'Jodha Akbar' So where is the focus on leads? A side heroine who is not a complete vamp or a vicious MIL slapping the heroine, does not sit well, atleast with me!
Loool Minoo...this is Indian drama...and Ekta's now got the historical license to play around with characters she didn't even have to justify bringing in...this is an evil in today's Indian Tv that we're going to have to put up with...😆

What an episode OMG, what and awesome episode.

It was so realistic and it capture every emotion so well, Jodha's pain, her guilt and also she finally realize what her foolish action can cause, a mother's pain, a wife loss a nation it's king. Beautiful. There are not enough words for today's episode.
Now we might see the true Jodha, she will now have a fight on her hand to c her husband, much less take care of him, let us c how she will handle this new situation.
To me this scenario where she will be caring for him in Agra is much better than in the jungle. Hats off to Ekta and team babes you pulled it off today.
Guys my mom literally push me out of the chair to see this episode today, ''all she can say is yes, yes, what an episode, she nailed it, can't wait to see what the rest of the week has to offer''

The above part underlined is so monumental...said very simply, but its true...its going to be an effort to even let them allow her to see him...
i really really hope the CVs handle following scenes like how they did the past few episodes...

Beautiful post... well said.

Only thing disappointing in the whole thing was the Big time spoilers about spark of romance in Jungle...
But well said... the CV's have done justice and shown todays episode quite realistically...👏

thanks pkaps..me hoping the spoilers are not false and there's still nursing on its way in Agra...the spoilers didn't say jungle or agra..only nursing
😆

Since logic is such a rarity in shows, this episode was quite an eye-opener.
I guess there will be torture and humiliation period for Jodha...logically to be expected. Will have to wait and see how this plays out. Quite interesting for sure .

Thanks Sonia...you're one of the few of us who seems to have reacted to everything as calmness personified 😆
I shall wait to see how this week unfolds and then reserve my comments for later too..

@ Kai
For the starters, they did not start where they stopped rather gave a build to tiger's appearance. Special Effects Team did a splendid job, very much realistic...if anyone needs any better effects than watch real tigers on National Geographic!
Hey I noticed the same too...thank God that they did that...

Hats off to CVS for keeping JB true to her character...a rajputani never loses control in any situation. It was her presence of mind and quick thinking to light a branch to scare away the wild cat. Jalal's fight with the tiger was well captured, good camera techniques! 👏
I know I loved it😃

A full grown tiger would weigh nearly 180 kgs and when that beast tries to attack... one is surely left in a near death situation. Hence, it would be silly to show JB nursing Jalal in the jungle with no herbal medicines.
👏👏👏👏👏 though we'd imagined all else, this made more sense to me..

I always wanted to see female protagonists taking charge of a situation when the male lead is wounded, I am really tired of seeing the male hunks carrying their petite lady love in their arms...it's time women did something for their men! JB rocks! 👍🏼
Jalal is much heavier than Jodha...her struggle, confusion and determination to safeguard Jalal's life is commendable. It's not easy for two people to ride on a horse back and it's even more difficult if one of them is injured and unconscious! My jaw dropped when Jalal fell off the horse!😲 it was painful💔
My God same here...I couldn't believe they'd shot it so realistically..😲 it was really painful!

Jodha's nightmare - i couldn't understand the scene ...did she think Jalal was dead??😳 )
I think she felt painfully responsible for singularly ruining the lives of so so many people...which she can't even comprehend...basically, what we'd go through in a fraction of a second, she went through a few minutes...

The reaction in the palace was genuine, nothing over the top...the shock and disbelief on knowing one's Emperor is in a critical situation was well captured by CVs! The quick attention to Jalal by all the 'doctors' and the herbal treatment was well executed!
👏

Precap: Ruqaiya's reaction was suppose to be extreme. She cares for Jalal whatever her reasons behind it. As for Jodha 1 tight slap was long due...i am happy Ruku did the honors!😈
😆such a mixed reaction this slap has evoked my Lord...

JB will be ridiculed by Maham and Ruqaiya but this was needed to give Jodha a reality check! Now that her blinkers are gone, she should be able to see the clear picture!
I'm waiting for them to bond (at least somehow) after this - hope CVs don't disappoint!

I have a feeling that as soon as jalal gains consciousness he will ask for jodha...to which MM/ hamida/ruku mite lash out and tell him tht she has no busines being there as she is responsible for all this. It is then that jalal will lie to them and take jodha's side. He mite tell everyone tht jodha lied to save the emperor's dignity from being a bad hunter or whatever.
Cant think of any other way tht jodha will b allowed to see jalal. What do you guys think??

I loved the part where she tied both of them together on the horse n kept supporting him.
Rajat n Paridhi were superb!❤️
Jodha needs this jolt. but felt bad seeing everyone in Agra against her...hope Hamida does'nt turn into the typical M-I-L n gets over her anger in gradually! All in all...an intriguing epi n a lovely post!👍🏼

Thanks baubles...😃
I don't think Hameeda will be a typical MIL...it was the initial shock...RT/PS were superb no doubt about it!

That rewind was SO NOT NEEDED in a historical esp in the midst of the most emotional scene of the show...

Very well written post!!!!

What a lovely episode...

The two most touching moment of today's show..

1st- jalal last words before he gets unconscious...jodha begum...jodha...

2nd- the guttural cry when jodha fears that the worst had happened...

These two moments were "the moments" of today's episode...

I know, the general mood in the forum is of sadness and depression...but, believe me...this could not have been done in a better way...the episode really tore through your heart...

Yes, jodha is a dangerous fool, idiot and a lost case...but, I hand it to this woman...she has the guts and clear conscience to confess what she has done...

Precap- ruqaiya's slap is JUSTIFIED...she is right...

Rajat and paridhi...you guys are awesome...watching you guys is a treat...take a bow!!!

Omg...that scene really does pulls one's heart-strings...especially how he falls off that horse...😭

2nd- the guttural cry when jodha fears that the worst had happen...
I know...😭 the entire ordeal of her's was superlatively taken..I don't think any other heroine would have rescued her husband so...Jhansi ki Rani she was...no Agra ki Rani
