HB is an innocent and good human she does not know how to hide her feelings and act. So she got angry that she is being not listened too and reacted angrily.

All mothers do that with children if children cold shoulder them or ignore their advice. What is so wrong in HB behaving like a typical mother? She is not approaching Akbar for some favours and psitions like maham. She is his mother will not want anything from him not money, not status, not favours only some love and care. She gives two hoots if jalal is an emperor for her she is just her son irrespective of him being emperor or beggar that does not change her love. Maham's love changes as per situation. Jalal must understand that his mother cannot butter him everytime to get him to listen to her or fawn over him like his begums.

Look.. that's a drawback for her now.. because jalal has never been able to forgive her. He sees her as a mother who abandoned him, while he sees Maham as the mother who took him under her wing when his own mother abandoned him. I see Hamida as a weak human being. She did not support jodha during the moti bai and the holi incident.. She doesn't really do anything for jodha either when the time comes... Its very easy to have sweet conversation and all that nonsense with her. For all her 'good' intentions, she is pretty useless.. barring the MC incident. Most of the time, its about what you do.. not what you say.

Hindal Mirza Ruqaiah father and Hamida were engaged to be married. Hindal was 17 and Hamida 12 at that time. But Humayun saw her one day in Hindal's palace and fell in love with her and ordered Hindal to not marry her and that he will marry her and Hindal could not do anything against his powerful emperor brother. Hindal got angry and left the house and went to kabul. Hamida was kind of forced in this marriage he was 30-32 and she only 12-13 years old when they married. She must have been heart broken poor girl. So Ruqu's father is Hamida's ex-lover. She must be getting concious to show her love to Ruqu thinking that someone may speak something of her past with Ruqu's father. Hamida was a mother to orhan Ruqu from age of 9 when her father died and she had no mother(must have died when she was young).

This is where Jalal is wrong. Humayun and Hamida were pursued by their enemies and to save their life and their son's future they had to go from place to place in extreme circumstances. Humayun's aunty, sister etc died in that fierce desert(i guess thar in rajasthan). But Kamran his step brother kidnapped Akbar and to free him Humayun and Hamida decided to go to persia to ask help from shah. They faced many hardship to travel from Kabul to persia but yet came back to rescue Akbar taking the Persian army. His father was forced to change his sect in Persia and give up so many things in order to get help from shah of persia. Why Akbar cannot understand what his parents have done to save him?

Instead now he grudges hamida saying "you left me alone with my uncles as hostage?" She was just 15 year old kid when he was born and just 16 years old when he was snatched away from her and she travelled to persia to request shah's help to free her son. She could have forgotten him and had more kids and enjoyed her life a bit. That is what i am angry that akbar cannot understand all this being so mature? Its not her fault that akbar is acting so rudely and indifferent to her after all she did for him when he was a child.
