Jalal loves Hamida more than MA. He feels totally deprived & blames his mother & has a gigantic & very bitter wound in his heart.. But he loves her a lot.

first of jalal does not have bitter feelings towards hamida, if that is what most people here are thinking. he has a strong bond wid maham anga because of her sacrifices (atleast he sees it that way) and emotional support towards him. a child bonds with his parents while growing up and the best years for that bonding is years from birth till they become a teenager. if the bonding does not occur during those time, it might happen ever or it will take a very long time to be have strong emotional connection. regardless of the circumstances and despite of hamida's best intentions, jalal as a child did not receive that pure and unconditional love that a parent gives and was constantly surrounded by battles and conspiracies. even after everything returned to normal, i dont think hamida ever tried to have a heart to heart convo wid jalal. even if she did she should have tried harder to break those walls in jalal's heart. i dont expect jalal to do that coz after everything he went through, it is quite natural for him to have a barbed fence around the walls of his heart (metaphorically speaking ofcourse😆).

the near death experience proved us wrong. The first name on jalal's lips was of his mother and her reaction on seeing him with such injuries shows how much he loves her despite not showing it in front of his mother or anyone else.

They are plenty of begums but jalal is not going and placing sword on their necks and shouting and putting them in jail right? Thats why hamida is concerned about jodha

Oh Good Lord,😆 Hamida is nowhere "obsessed" with Jodha!! They're both pure souls with gold hearts so she feels a kinship for Jodha in a way she never has before for any other wife of his son's. And of course she really cares about Ruqaiyya! But she might not love her like she loves Jodha, that's all.

Another factor is- Ruqaiyya has loving memories of her stay at the Umarkot palace & her old friendship with the Umarkot Maaharaani 😊. It has never ever happened before that a Mughal Baadshah married a Hindu Rajput Raajkumaari so their marriage being an un-precedented happening, also brings forth these reasons.

The first name, even before Ruq & Jodha that Jalal took in episode no 80, was Hamida's. That says it all.

Hamida also feels that, Jodha is an innocent & has no idea about how the Mughal world functions which is very true so she had taken on he role of her mother out of all these factors.

And lastly, because somewhere she knows that Jodha can be her son's true Equal Partner & can see the pull that Jalal feels for Jodha.. 😊

Well that might have to do with the fact that they're human beings, Alakh.. 😆
