Aunty, I put up a post before reading your's and Alakh the JA guardian-of-the-forum-angel has caught us both out...😆
Jalal says hamne aapse ..I saw it again...😃
As for the rest of it - in some form or the other I've echoed your thoughts, sentiments and takes on the episode in different threads since Friday...
I loved loved loved reading your poetry on the development on their story...especially HOW BEAUTIFULLY you've compared a receding shore-line to the apparent cleansing/clearing of the relationship between Jodha and Jalal...
I also admired how you've defended Jodha's deeds at the dargah (I share a similar view to your's on it that it was childish, but not evil on her part) while yes, I also didn't like her assuming that it was ONLY JALAL who took away everything from her...The truth is that it was not Jalal alone or not even her dad alone that was responsible for her grief...it was basically Jalal, Amer, Bharmal, circumstances and to some extent, she herself too that did so (I know I'm sounding like Mainawati here) but that's the truth!
In a way, I'm glad they're only taking baby steps with respect to their relationship development - He's resigned to the fact that she hates him still and therefore no attraction from his side on Friday's episode and she's just about started recognizing a new him, but very very sceptical about it all! It makes it all appear more believable...a nachadi Jodha or not, they're at least being true to her character...she ghrina-ed Jalal in the beginning, she still just about tolerates him now! They're not see-sawing with her character in that department at least!😛
As for the branch of fire, me thinks that it was just a stray branch that was subjected to the old flint-stone trick to light up the dusky light...have to give them the benefit of doubt there...after all, Jalal was a proficient hunter - he must know the tricks of the trade!
