He has a khanjar tucked away ,Alakh. 😆 You Can see it in the bit where he asks Jodha to talk to him, when he moves, you can see he's tucked it under his cloth belt.

Was going to call it a nite when I saw the PM.

Liked your take on the episode. Provided for a good read before I call it a nite.

I loved Jalal's talk with the snake. Our Ms.Ghrina (Hey she hasn't used that word for sometime now!)

was at least filled with remorse and embarrassment.

Yes Would've liked it better had she apologized, but somehow her pride comes in her way when it comes to Jalal. Now that Jodha has begun to see Jalal in a new light, hopefully we'll begin to see a better behaving Jodha.

Jalaal - I loved him. I didn't think he went overboard in being nice to her.He was being patient with her but that's due to her mental state, something he is able to relate to.

I liked the dargah scene, I did not like the bit about Jodha wanting to teach him a lesson but I didn't read too much into it. On the whole the dargah part seemed shot very well - the lighting, the rays thru the lattice , the dance. Overall I felt it couldn't have been taken better...
While I was relishing it, what I found very sudden was the hunting trip.

While I was eagerly anticipating Pyare Mohan all this while, during the episode I wished it was Monday before they embarked on the hunting trip.

Any case to answer your question, I believe Jalaal will shield Jodha, no doubt.

beautiful post aunty and I agree with you ditto that Jalal has not yet become overtly sweet with jodha. In fact his behavior has changed due to his empathy for her, it's neither love nor affection.

And there is still a long way to go to become Akbar the great, who participated willingly in every hindu festivals as well as islamic festivals.

Cvs could have shown us that Jodha puts the holy color on Jalal's face and Jalal does the same adding a tinge of romanticism in that holi scene, but I think they deliberately didn't show it as if he starts participating in hindu festivals (till then it was considered only a hindu festival,) then n there the difference between jalal and akbar would be narrowed down at a single stroke, hence they skipped that possibility as he is too young to become Akbar the great.😊and moreover it's only the start of his journey..

Yep I saw the khanjr too.. But I wonder what Jodha will do to help him.. If you have seen the promo the torch from her hand is gone.. My guess is jalal will push her out of the way and Mohan will attack jalal.

You know ekta said that even after the twist, they will just learn to bear each other if not like each other.. Even after the mohan romance, I guess they will not be together in that sense...
