Thank you so much, my dear Abie, and I am glad that you find the PMs useful.

After such a superb episode yesterday, today was a let down.Jodha's character is being trashed, and she has been reduced to an extremely foolish, vain, self-centred, delusional nitwit. If you have the time, do see my response to sun29 above, where I have really let myself go!

Another great post.⭐️⭐️

I also thought the same, Jalal genuinely dint want Jodha to come with him and his reasons to it are understandable. Someone who hates you, will she pray for your well being? Salima and Jodha's talk in the garden made me think Jalal will save her from tiger then Jodha will pray for him truly.😳

Maham is beginning to be helpless. Now she has to turn to Salima for what motives is it she had. But her Convo with Jalal had it gone any further she would have fainted.😆😆

It is always great getting PM for your wonderful posts. Thanks!😃

Dear Apurva,

That is a very clever explanation for the mystery of the door, but that would mean that the secret passage ends in that particular room, for it obviously would end only in one of the rooms.I am sure you are correct.

Jalal does know at least some Hindi (devanagari is the script, not the language, and it is used for all the North Indian languages), as he was telling the banjaras at Sambhar.

Jodha was abysmally foolish and, at the very end, downright crude. If you have the time, do take a look at my response to sun29 above.

😆Ruqaiya's face, all beaming "Ammijaan, hum chahte hai ki Suraj ki peheli Kiran hum pad pade Duya kijiyega" ''Ameen" and then the Drop of face seeing the unofficial Begum-e-Khaas II laying their cuddled up recieving the "Aftab ka pehela Noor"

I really appriciate how this Aftab ka pehela Noor was handled by the CVs, you said it right Aunty, They somethime have brainwaves.
And for the Door part you mentioned, Jalal entered their from the secret passage, locked Jodha there and went out throught the same passage and then came inside the Palace throught the main door.Ruqaiya entered the room through the Palace opening, which wasn't used by Jalal.
Jalal must have learned or known Devnagri, It isn't possible to rule Hindustan without having atleast a little knowledge of Languages of other culture among the varied cultures of India.
For Jodha I don;t know, maybe she is a Royal so she have to be a little familiar with neighbour's Kingdom's language or it the Power of being Soulmate😆😉 or just being for almost one month in Mughal surroundings, It isn't that Diffcult. We also understand that without knowing Urdu don't we? No? Ohh I do!
Jodha's lehenga was good today!
Precap: I think there was Mohini[Snake] crwaling on Jodha's sheet so Jalal did that "Ashobniye Harkart' of his which indicates a "Ashobhniy Acharan"
Or else who does this type of thing without a reason???

Dear Kamal,

My reply to Meghana was very mild! Here is what I wrote earlier on this very thread.

Today's episode has left a very sour taste in the mouth. Jodha was so consistently and terminally stupid and so coarse, I could not believe that a highborn woman could talk like that to her wedded husband. It was a worse version of the perorations by the likes of Asha Parekh and her ilk in the lousy Hindi films of the 1960s.

She took the cake and in fact the whole bakery. Every time she made a fool of herself, it topped the previous instance. The snake incident was of course the apogee of her senseless insolence and self-importance,. One can only reiterate what Jalal roared at her after he had dragged her out of the pool: Tum apne aap ko kya samajhti ho?

Plus I do not think her mother briefed her about the little thing called conjugal rights. If Jalal had actually chosen to claim them then and there in a blind rage, when she goes on about Aapko wo adhikar nahin diya hai, aur na hi kabhi denge, samjhe aap? , she would have been well served. She made me feel sick.

As for your @red, I could not agree with you more, especially about her discussing her husband and the sleeping arrangements with her daasi. It was cheap beyond belief. The CVs are doing a thorough hatchet job on Jodha Begum, but Jalal too needs to have his head examined for putting up with such nonsense.

Now I am waiting to see if she at least has the sense of decency to apologise to him for all the scandalous things she said to him. I wonder what Hamida Banu would say if she could see the way her dear, darling Jodha beta behaves with her lawfully wedded husband.

Hi Shyamala,
Can't agree more on this issue...Giving here what I wrote in another thread ...I find Jalaal's behavior towards Jo resembling that of someone who is interacting with a completely "Mental Case"...!!

Today , I simply could not help but feel like giving 2 tight slaps on her face after her Idiotic ( to the power Infinity) Dialogue abt her suspicion and Jalaal's intention etc etc Blah Blah....😡
U R right to the core, The girl has lost her marbles completely and her Pagalpan is quite evident to her Hubby , who, in turn has transformed into a saintly patient Messiah for her...!!!!!😕
I seriously think that her own( Emotional & Sexual both 😕)frustration is actually dictating her OTT behavior with Ja..😔...And Jalaal being who he is, is finding her unnecessary constant hollering very amusing. 🤡And probably he wants to see the full extent of it...as after reaching the peak, the way to progress is only downwards...😉

Though it was very annoying to see Jo's blabbering...the Coming track hints helped me stay hopeful for the coming week....Lag raha hai ke Poora ka poora Animal Kingdom joot jayega in dono ko milane ke liye...😃

Woh OSO me kaha hai na," Ke Agar kisi Cheez ko ...Kaaynaat use milane ki saazish me lag jati hai...".😛
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Regards,
Kamal

P.S.-Don't u think it is very derogatory to see someone like her thinking ONLY and ONLY of Carnal Desires of Her Husband and discussing the sleeping arrangements with Daasis ,For one who is a royal progeny and on a Sacred Pilgrimage as well???😕 🤢
I think her parents would have fainted at her manners , had they been present there...😕

You would be too young to have seen them, but Jodha today reminded me of nothing so much as the heroines of the 1960s films, shouting Luchche, lafange, badmaash, tere ghar mein ma behen nahin hai kya? at what was then called eveteasers. She was unbelievably stupid and coarse, Plus I do not think her mother briefed her about the little thing called conjugal rights. It is not funny, to reduce a heroine to this.

Shyamala

Solid advice on what to take in my mission to meet Jalal! About age, I am not that young at all. I have been in US for a long time and have gotten used to first name basis, so hope you dont mind. I do remember growing up the shakti kapoor and prem chopra pe heroine kaise dialog marti thi. Jodha is not far away from that, except our Jalal is no where close to those villains.
