In my opinion, the showcase of ill-temper and misdeed has happened from both sides...and almost in an alternating way...!!! And that's the problem here...😕
Whenever one of them was hostile, the other was behaves like a frightened kitten😲 and when the previous cools off , the Kitten becomes the Tiger and pounces on...😡!!!! The whole thing happens in an ill-timed fashion , leaving very little chance of Both being Cool simultaneously at any point...
About the Mother-Daughter convo...The logic given by MV is very apt for that Era...It is the time, position of women in society and the type of upbringing used to shape thoughts of the Ladies ...In Fact , the portrayal of Jodha's Open Bagaawat and refusal of her Husband is a bit odd here as that is something Ms.EK imbibed in her for the sake of the Storyline... Much so when her own parents had decided to be civil and courteous towards their revered JawaiSa...!!!

Mansi, I don't agree completely with your stance on Jalal not dictating the pace. He has tried few times - apologized few times about MC, personally and openly congratulated on a thoughtful gift to Ruqu, allowed her the option to stay or go back. All of these were small steps that he was taking, but Jodha blocked each one of them with her temper. Hence I feel she has to make the next move.
