Recap :

Doctors completed examining and said : Fikr ki koi baat nahi hai Mallika!! Bas thode tanaav ke karan SHahenshah Behosh ho gayen hain. Inhe kuch hi der mein hosh aa jayega.
And they left the room.

Jodha felt relieved hearing that and she decided that she will not disturb Jalal by telling him about Maham ANga's Reality.
She caressed his head and waited patiently for him to get up.

Part 22 :

Hameeda, Maham Anga, Ruqaiya and other important people had arrived by now in Jalal's room.They already got to know that Jalal fainted miserably,
his pulse was low and he was really weak.

Hameeda was really tensed seeing Jalal like that but Jodha consoled her and said : Shahenshah bilkul thik hain Ammi-Jaan..Pata
nahi kaise inki tabiyat bigad gayi..Lekin ab inki haalat mein sudhaar hai..(Tear rolled down her eye).

Still, Hameeda looked worried.

Even Ruqaiya was tensed but more than that, she was very angry.

She could not control her feelings and her anger bursted out on Jodha :

"Ammi - Jaan ye sab Is Jodha ki wajah se hua hai!! Jalal ki aaj se pehle kabhi is tarah tabiyat nahi bigdi.
Jab se ye Jalal ke saath rehne lagi hain, tab se Jalal humesha chintit rehte hain..
Lekin..Lekin Aaj to inhone had hi kardi. Hum Jaante hain ki Jalal behosh kyon ho gaye..
Jaanti hain Ammi-Jaan..aaj subah hum har roz ki tarah Jalal ke kaksh mein aaye the aur Jodha Begum ne Darwaza khola tha..

Pata hai humne kya dekha..Jalal apne Shahi Palang par sone ke bajaye neeche zameen par lete the..
Ye baat sab ko pata hai ke Shahenshah ki Shaan mein koi kami nahi honi chahiye..
Lekin isme zyada ascharya ki baat bhi kya hai Ammi-Jaan..Jodha koi mauka nahi chodti Jalal ko Dard pahuchane ka..

Jalal kitne pyaar se Inhe apne kaksh mein laye the..Lekin inhone Jalal ka zara bhi maan nahi rakha..
Unhe naa to kabhi Shauhar ka haq diya..Aur naa hi kabhi unka khayal rakha.

Inhone jaan bujhkar Jalal ko neeche sone par majboor kar diya aur khud aaram se Upar so gayin.

Kya aapko zara bhi andaza nahi hai Jodha ke Shahenshah ki sehat sahi rehna kitna zaruri hai hum sab ke liye..
Lekin hum ye sab keh kis se rahe hain.. Usse jo har waqt Jalal ko kosti rehti hai..
Humein to yeh samajh nahi aata ke Jalal ne kis buna par tumhe Mallika-e-Hindustan Bana diya..
Kyon apne kaksh mein laaye aur Kyun itna samaan diya...

Tum inme se kisi bhi cheez ke layak nahi ho Jodha (She had blurted out everything she felt, but totally covered with
sugar and in such a way, that Jodha would be held responsible for it).

Everyone was shocked to hear Ruqaiya. They all were so drowned in her words that they could hardly make out her actual reality.
Infact they focussed more on the fact that Jalal slept on ground.

Hameeda looked at Jodha with disgust. Jodha had been listening everything silently, not even uttering a word and her eyes
continuously looked down.

Hameeda asked Sternly : Kya hum jo Sun rahe hain vo sach hai Jodha?

Jodha : Vo..Ammi Jaan..

Hameeda : Sirf haan ya na mein jawaab dijiye Jodha!!

Jodha : Jee Ammi Jaan!! Shahenshah Zameen par soye the lekin humari baat to suniye..

Hameeda could not control her anger and stopped her in between. SHe had believed Jodha so much. She loved Jodha to core.
She knew Jodha was never like other Wives or women in the Harem. She had always been kind, truthful and genuine.

Hameeda (with utmost anger) : Humein yakeen nahi hota Jodha ki aap aisa kar sakti hain. Kitna Vishwaas tha humein aap par.
Hum maante hain ki Aap Jalal ko Shauhar ka haq nahi dena chahti,,Theek hai,,Hum aapko pura waqt dete hain lekin kya aapka
itna bhi farz nahi banta ke aap unka khayal rakhein..

Maham Anga had been watching all this eagerly. She thought : WHy should she keep mum when she has a golden opportunity?

Maham Anga shed her crocodile tears : Gustakhi muaaff ho Mallika-e-Aaliyah!! Lekin hum bhi aapko kuch batana chahte hain.
She showed her cheek to all.. indicating the fingers-marks which were still there on her face.

Maham : Ye nazraana humein ba-kaayda humari Mallika-e-Hindustan ne nazar kiya hai. Is liye, inhone jo Shahenshah ke saath kiya,
humein usme koi ashcharya nahi hai..

This was a hell-shocker for everyone. Hameeda was going mad with anger.
She saw the new color of Jodha today. Everyone looked at Jodha with shame and anger.

How could she raise her hand on Jalal's Badi Ammi?

Hameeda (still trying to keep her calm) : Kya ye bhi sach hai Jodha??

Jodha was shocked by how Maham anga acted. Jodha's eyes raged with anger.

Hameeda - Hum kuch puch rahein hain Jodha!! Kya ye gunaah aapne kiya hai??

Jodha(unable to control her anger) : Haan humne hi Maham ANga par haath uthaya hai Ammi-Jaan!! Kyonki...

Before she could complete her sentence, Hameeda raised her hand to slap Jodha when Suddenly, Jalal's hand Stopped her.

Everyone looked at Jalal who was conscious now and had been aware of the drama going on around him.

Jodha (without even caring about how everyone was thinking of her) : Shahenshah!! Aap thik to haina..Hum bahut dar gaye the,
BAtaiye na..Aap thik to haina..!

Hameeda (happily looking at Jalal and ignoring Jodha ) : Jalal!! Aap kaise hain? Ye sab kaise ho gaya Jalal? Aap apni sehat ke saath aisa kaise kar sakte hain..
Kyon doosron ke liye apni sehat se khel rahe hain.??

She helped Jalal in getting up.

Ruqaiya was so happy seeing Jalal that she immediately hugged Jalal.
Jodha backed off herself and was standing away from there.

Ruqaiya hugged him and said : Aap kaise hain jalal??Aapko behosh dekh kar humari rooh kaap gayi thi..Jisne aapki ye halat ki hai..
Hum use kabhi nahi chodenge..

Whereas Jalal was constantly looking in Jodha's eyes. Her eyes were full of tears and anger. He could see that she held herself responsible for his condition.
He could sense that she didnt like Ruqaiya hugging him. She looked so helpless. How could she say anything in her defence, or could stop Ruqaiya with her command..When He had never given her chance to speak.

He could also see, that How everyone took Jodha for granted. How everyone Bursted out on her whenever they wanted, and yet she could not even defend herself.
HE also realised how much she had stuffed up herself from within..She had held within her so many things,,that she wanted to tell him,,,but could not say..Because
She knew He would never trust her..He remembered Jodha's Conversation with Maham Anga.

He immediately Jerked off Ruqaiya and got up from Bed with full power like he was never ill.

He Shouted with such a large voice, no one could imagine : Bas Kijiye aap log!! Hum Ek aur lavz nahi suna chahte!!EK AUR LAVZ NAHI..

He went straight to Jodha and hugged her tight!! She was crying bitterly due to all the allegations put on her.

He put his one hand around her back and the other on her head so as to provide her with immense Care, protection and comfort feeling.
He wanted her to feel, that She had full right on him and had full right to stop anyone from touching him, if she wanted..

Jodha felt as if she was dreaming. This is not possible she thought. But she could feel his hug. She realised that it was reality.
She clutched her hands tightly around him,, as if she didnt want to lose him. She Said (crying bitterly) : Shahenshah!! Hum aapko koi chot nahi pahuchana chahte the..Vo..Aap to sab jaan..

Jalal stopped her in between.

Jalal (in a very soft voice) : Bas ek aur aasoon nahi Jodha Begum!! Chup ho jaiye..Shh..Shh..Hum sab jaante hain Jodha..
Aapko koi safai dene ki zarurat nahi hai.. Chup ho jaiye.. A tear rolled down his eye.

Jalal caressed her head and rubbed her back unless she stopped crying and felt comfortable.

He broke the Hug although Jodha didn't want to. He turned around to see everyone else there.

Jalal (roaring voice ) : Ye kya tamasha Laga rakha hai yahan? Kyon Begum Jodha par betuke ilzaam lagaye Jaa rahe hain..
He paused for a while and then said Sternly..Hum aap sab ko Hukm dete hain ke Aap sab abse ek ghante baad Diwaan-e-khaas mein pesh honge.
Humein sabse bahut zaruri baat karni hai.. He looked at Maham Anga with utmost disgust..And said further :

Aaj bahut se raaz kholne hain aur bahut logon ko Be-nakaab karna hai. He dismissed everyone Saying loudly :TAQLIYAA!!

Hameeda protested while leaving and said : Jalal!! Hum Jodha Begum ko lekar aapse kuch baat karna chahte hain. (in angry tone)

Jalal : Aapne suna nahi Ammi-Jaan!! Aap jaa sakti hain..Hum ab sabki baatein Diwaan-e-Khaas mein hi Sunenge.
Aur sabse kehna chahte hain ki hum bilkul thik hain. Humari sehat Bilkul thik hai.

Everyone left their room. Ruqaiya felt so ignored. But she also left.

Jodha had lowered her eyes. Jalal looked at Jodha and moved towards her.
