Though Jodha was very unpleasant, still I liked the Meena Bazaar scene.

Jodha is always planning to somehow piss Jalal - I wonder why? He has agreed to all her demands & even gave her the permission to go back to Amer, so why is she donning this attitude?

A Princess or Queen always greets the person who comes to meet her - Jodha in no way seems to be a Queen.

Among all the people - I find Javeda the only admirable person.

Ameri Mirchi needs to reduce her zest now.

the way she said that she doesn't find it important to tell Jalal anything I was so shocked.. It was on a public place! His guards servants were there.. Jodha shouldn't have done this!

Very Well Written, Here's what I wrote on Skanda's post[ On how to sell silliness at stalls] do take a look
***
Amazing!! The post is...what to say?? I am speechless. I like your title of the 3 womens who sold silliness. Silly Chick!!😆
Jodha was very Rude and unlike her, Jalal was very composed. What was she trying to prove, Maybe showing her displeasure that Shehen Shah is OK with her leaving to Amer.
I do think, this behaviour of hers is delibrate, Because I noticed since Jalal told her that she has the opion to go back to Amer, she is showing that she HATES Amer, Dam ghut ta hai uska yahan par! She shows Jalal that she is suffocating here.
Jodha doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that She doesn't wants to go, and I think is hping Jalal would say something of "Aap kahin nahi jaa rahi hai Begum Jodha" But since Jalal shows that he is all OK with her going back, the rage is venting out in this way.
This is Purely my Opinion doesn't needs to be true. I find Jodha's behaviour has some hidden element to it, It is delibrate because witnessing how Jodha is she would do this, She will do if she is heated up on something with Jalal and Jalal recently didn't did such thing only did whats she wanted, to go back, Whcih now she doesn't wants and to her Jalal seems OK so that angers her, Maybe.
For Ruquiya, No comments!😆 But her Duppata was beautiful. And she led me down. When she was boasting about how this tim too she has something Unique and something to surprise him ,I thought it would be but Duppatas?? They must be with some other womens also, Dupatta can be thought a a common thing to sell.Last time's, Pashmina was unique indeed. And I think Jalal's praise was fake and delibrate, It didn't seemed unique and somehting that would attract him amidst all the shops. It was only Javeda and Jodha's shop which could do that, because they had something different that the rest of crowd.
And Javeda, she is fav if you talk about Comedy. But she is indeed smart. Her Idea was most unique, Everybody else had loads of cloths, Jewellery, Itrs and things like that but who ever could think of Potraits of a smiling Maham Anga. BUt that was creative and Unique, No one had seen Maham Anga smiling, she smiles rarely but that too is wicked or else fake. So it would be somehting new to see smiling Maham Anga's potrait. Jalal should have seen her shop I'm sure he would have Bought all the potraits of his dearest Badi Ammi, but unfortunately for him his Badi Ammi already did.
Jodha's shop was unique is you see, Colours is something no one would have thought except our Rajputani Begum. And seeing a wide array of Vibrant colours is pleasant, for me it was. Her behaviour was somehting not excpected but I wrote my view on that above.
p.s. Did you noticed Jodha is one Jalal's Khaas Begum! He acknowledged it himself. While buying the Dupatta he said "Hame teen dupatte chahiye, hamari teen KHAAS begumo ke liye" One for Ruquiya, One for Salima and one was Jodha too!! That means Jodha is Khaas Begum too!!
***
Do tell what do you think about my view on Jodha's behaviour.
You told that Jalal bought all the colours because he knew no one would want that, and she will end up lokking like a fool. But I have something more to add on that.
What I think is Jodha delibaretly chose colors as her stock to sell, because she knew no one would buy and she would be not be invovled in Meena Bazzar. When she whispered in her baandi's ear, she excleaimed "Aap sach me aise karne ki soch rahi Jodha?" To which she confidenty replied "Haan"
p.s. Now that Tiger is on that way, by the way Superb editing it was, I am so happy that Jalal subconciously or conciously acknowledged that Jodha is one of her 3 Khaas Begums.Yeahh!!!

Firstly, kaan pakadke sorry - I haven't been regular on your threads for the past 3 days..any spare time I get on IF has been taken up with first updating myself on what I'd been missing - and to top it all - a slew of articles, first Holi, then suicide and now tiger! They say, when it rains, it pours! LOL...anyway, I'm back here to read and enjoy your lovely posts!🤗

I was thus delighted that her deliberate impertinence in soiling what she thought to be his white dupatta boomeranged on her,and she fell flat on her face. I almost cheered Jalal for having tripped her up so smoothly and effectively.

He was in any case smiling into his moustache right from the moment when she reached past him and picked up the dupatta, for he knew what was coming. He waited, with a perfect sense of timing, till after she had run the gamut of her ill humour and her tantrums, to inform her that it was his gift to her. Very neat, but as a woman, I do not like it when another woman exposes herself to ridicule in this fashion.

Yesterday, Jalal made me go I think we all have pretty much the same gripe here - if Jodha has to hate, why can't she do so civilly...

It seemed to me that Jalal treated her today the way an adult treats an ill-behaved and obnoxious child, with exaggerated patience and unshakeable calm . Not as if he was trying to patch up an as yet non-existent relationship, but rather as if he wanted a civil parting free of any hostility or vindictiveness.

😆😆😆

The curious thing here is that Jodha does not seem to remember any longer that he had given her a choice, and she insists on behaving as though he was railroading her back to Amer against her will!

Ok...here what I state might put some off...but the truth is that there seems to be little justification in this talaaq track...especially once the MA fiasco has been brushed under the carpet and Jodha absolved of all blame...it surprised me to see an otherwise civil conversation between them (outside the temple) and her positive approach towards him (when she learnt of his investigation) now reach this low point -WITHOUT ANY PROPER REASON...similar with the suicide saga...The talaaq and suicide attempts make no sense to me. Nothing really major transpired between the two after the MC. Then, why this sudden forced animosity? Anyway, it disappointed me so much that Ididn't watch those two episodes yet (which I'd missed during the shifting) and hence my temporary absence in your lovely threads too!

I feel a continual sense of disconnect with that track...now, with the hunting promo looking as spectacular as promised, my hopes are back to where they were...

This too fits in with his treating her like a spoilt, ill-behaved brat. When he gives her permission to play Holi, as a parting gift, but adds that it should not inconvenience anyone else, it sounded exactly like a hostel warden giving permission for a late night to a disobedient and unreliable student, whom he fully expects to violate curfew deadline!😉

😆

Question of the day: How did Mahaam Anga get to know of Jodha's going back to Amer? Jalal reveals it to Ruqaiya by mistake, but they are alone then, and there is no reason why she should tell Mahaam.

I wonder about this too...did they just skip the timepass scene where Jalal would have updated MA about Jodha's departure...

spectacular as usual aunty🤗

Hi There,

But the point maybe that she has to grow too in this relationship...that it was not always he who was at fault...she is ,and has been erroneous herself. The fact that he has grown and matured from the infamous "ark de datura..." ( forgive me Noah) ...is obvious...that she has regressed...from her own high standards...is also ..in some ways a response to her deep seated hurt, anguish and betrayal... I am playing devil's advocate here...but she has seen her father demoted from king, her betrothed slain, her marriage to someone who ,then , was definitely not the Din e ilahi proponent...besides being force wedded, humiliated, insulted, accused, traumatized by accusations...towards her and her family...this when she was just possibly beginning to thaw...it's his mirror image in emotions...
So it's her turn to be petulant, angry, insulting, aggravating...
More filler episodes...this provides...for sure...

agreed on ur views too. but on other hand she is lecturing citizons on how to respect their king, when they talk bad abt him, and now she herself is insulting him publicly. that too for no reason. coz in meena bazaar, he was very humble with her...even I agree, she should not take his nonsense anymore, but no need to insult him in front of public. she can do it in harem

My dear Surya,

Of course you would have cottoned on to the fact that I am such a feminist that I hate it when women are stupid. Stupid men never bother me!😉

Jodha is demeaning herself, which is a great pity, If only I could have had the writing of her, you would have had a Scarlett with a heart. Alas, that is not to be! How I would love an intelligent Jalal-Jodha love story!

I am now off to look at the tiger attack! Before I do that, let me tell you that whenever you are not able to comment on any of my Ramayanas, I really miss you!
