MM duplicate was not present at the time of Rqu MC, she was brought into palace by MM when jodha was declared as innocent and when jodha blamed MM for this, MM knows that jalal will do the enquiry by his own, so she tried to show lakhi and show the difference that she is MM duplicate who is doing this.

well MA said that she willingly took the blame upon her and sacrificed her life for MA since MA had been showering her family with riches ever since Lakhi saved her life with the chotu Jalal...that's basically MA's plan right...if Lakhi was to escape how could MA pin the blame on anyone else...

so much so that this lady actually smoked hukkah and did everything else to prove to Jalal that she wasn't MA!

what I didn't understand was that poorly shot scene - when Jalal brought MA out to show her the duplicate...it seemed as though this conversation and scene was happening in the open...for everyone to see...wouldn't the whole palace/harem be shocked if they all suddenly spotted two people...

They could have at least shown everything a bit discreet there...
