I noticed your comments on my post, and I agree with a lot of your comments on my post! But there is one thing that still niggles with this humshakal thing, so let me explain what that is!

Hope its OK if I write this point here on your post rather than on mine ... since I am here at this moment.

See this humshakal dialogue yesterday could be as simple as:

Maham using the humshakal idea to create a "fall guy" in that disguise so that she can today stump Jalal by saying "Yes I did the whole thing. But then its easy to understand why Jodha and Rahim thought so too, because here is this "fall guy" who really did it all after disguising himself or herself as me!" Blah, blah, blah ... Jalal sees how it could have been Rahim's mistake on identifying this fake Mahamanga, and how Jodha too may have been taken in. Khatam, all's well that ends well. Everybody has suspicions, but they reserve their opinions seeing as how Mahamanga has found a pat answer!

The longer running version of the humshakal story could be many things:

1. I have seen one post by somebody suggesting this humshakal may have some previous links with Mahamanga and his name coming up in that dialogue of Hamida must have rung bells for Maham!

2. The humshakal may be Adham's dad! (Gawd help me!)

3. The humshakal may be someone who still lives in reality and who may pose a threat to Maham, or become a pawn in Maham's future games, especially if this humshakal has some vital info on this tenuous "gap time" when he is supposed to have impersonated Humayun and before Jalal could be declared heir.

Why this third theory appeals to me at all is because we have seen this spoiler pic of Jalal wearing a beard and some pirbaba like clothes. The reason for this spoiler pic (why was it shot at all) looms like a large question mark in my mind. So when this question of the humshakal came up yesterday I found myself wondering if there's a connection between this spoiler pic and the humshakal info discussed by the ladies.

I found myself wondering if

a. The spoiler was actually part of a "flashback" that Maham may have when she recalls that Hamida-wala dialogue?

b. The spoiler may be a double act by Jalal (acting as himself as well as his father's humshakal still alive?

I am ready to buy the theory of the humshakal idea dawning on Mahamanga as a way out of the predicament that Rahim has seen her mixing the ark. And thus bringing an end to the miscarriage track perhaps?

But the spoiler pic of the bearded and pirbaba like Jalal is still unexplained ... and I am caught in this question of whether it has something to do with this discussed humshakal. If anyone can throw light on this picture and why it was shot last week, I'd be spared this mental churning!

Most such spoilers shot the previous week seem to air the next week, and so it's likely to figure maybe this week? That's adding to my suspicion about whether it has anything to do with the hummshakal aspect of the script.

Of course, if we accept that the pic has something to do with the humshakal, then extrapolating from Ekta's previous soaps, the possibilities are endless. Humshakals notoriously are capable of being anybody's everybody ... and my imagination doesn't need prodding to go down strange paths!

It is not for Jodha to invite anyone to meet the Shahenshah. He might have done it himself,or MS might have smelt a rat and invited herself.

If you feel that Jalal should trust Jodha against his Badiammi, after all that has gone before, from Jalal ka sar to atyant ghruna, I have nothing to say! And I did not know that the Ameri sanskaars permitted slapping of your husband, whatever the provocation. I shall consult Mynavati on this important point.
