Hello Friends,
This is the first topic I am posting in the forum, though I had been following most of the posts in this forum since Day 1
So, so many weeks passed, so many characters( some fictional some historical) we saw, so many ups and downs in the love story, so much of Diwaan-e khas happenings along with Harem politics, we witnessed.😃 So many tracks(influencing the trps) including and excluding the leads, some of which we adored and some we didn't, we watched.
Many of us would have followed the show being RT or Paridhi fan, many after the historic love story , many because of Ekta's dream project and many for many other reasons, but most of us would have some expectations, some outline in our minds as to what we wanted to see.
So, though I said so many words needlessly, I want to ask you people,
Till now, What all you liked about the show? and what didn't meet your expectations or simply you didn't like?
And What all you want to see in the future? Do you think of any necessary change or improvement, in any part of the show?
I mean overall, I want you to share your views about the show honestly,your likes and dislikes, places of improvement,if any. I am just asking out of my inquisitiveness😛
And to start with mine, What I liked about the show..👏

- Its casting...I found all the leads very apt...Rajat has already had a a lot experience of a periodic and he proved his worth enacting the complicated character. Paridhi has emanated the elegance of a rajput princess with her deep expressive eyes indeed, but the best casting I found of Mahamanga ie ashwini. She has been doing a terrific job.Bairam Khan was also very apt and so are the actors playing Ruqaiya, Mainawati, Sukanya,Motibai and the rest.(most women)
- The diaoldges and the screenplay is something that you notice within a single episode that it has a fine director. The dialogues have a descent standard and the language used by the mughals and rajputs shows the remarkable difference that must have been.
The screenplay and editing too depict the intelligence of the people involved such that no scene is shown in vain. Every scene has a purpose,and a scene to follow.
- The magnificence of the sets, particularly indoors at both Aamer and Agra ( credit to Ekta Kapoor definitely) attract a neutral viewer instantly, and prove that its different, special from rest of the periodic soaps.
-- The Costumes and Jwellery...though the dresses get repetitive, still the distinctiveness of Rajasthani attires and Mughal style of dressing is quite evident. Both the ladies and men have been given due importance in this department. Apart from the leads, others also follow the order.
- The twists and turns garnering trps ( that's actually included in the screenplay) are strong enough to hold the viewers on the edge of seat.
-And the great chemistry between the leads, Jodha And Akbar
- Many more I am missing right now..you may remind😃
And what I didn't like or want to paid a little more attention by the directors...
-Some important political happening of that era shown so briefly, like dismissal of Bairam Khan, his murder and victory at malwa by Adham Khan.
- Some tracks been lengthened unnecessarily like miscarriage of Ruqaiya, the interaction of Saguni Bai and Jodha's mom's, and her unnecessary anxiety, the engagement of Jodha and Suryabhan...and all the events highlighting the heartlessness of Jalal and the stupid arrogance of Ruqaiya over her supremacy in Harem.
- The Badly picturized War scenes with kid like handling of swords and arms by the actors( except Rajat and to some extent Jodha) and without many men.The stunt director also seems to be napping.No at par stunts as needed to be in any periodic drama. Not much horse riding even.
- And the repetitive exchange of heated dislodges between the lead pair, that are almost the same always filled with hatred, arrogance and stupidity.
- And last not the least..the powerful women too heavy upon the meek, puppets like men like in any other daily soap, be it jalaal (the shahensah) or Adham or Baairam Khan. The whole story getting reduced to Saas bahu aur Saazish.
And I wish for changes/improvements/ tracks..😉
-Better more intense scenes( I mean logical) between Jodha and Akbar, more of their Nokjhok. Some tracks of excursions involving outdoor scenes.
- More magnificently pictured wars showing the warrior side of Akbar as well, and of other potential actors like Chetan.
- Better expressions of Jodha's brothers..Making the charcter of Handsome Bagwaan das, more expressive.
- And Akbar dealing with at least some siyasi affairs with interest, being shaenshah apart from indulging in amusement with his queens, their harem and his Waaris.
Sorry, If anybody disgree,,,as these are my mere views, honest😛.
