I still want to believe that there is a part of her that genuinely cares for Jalal but unfortunately her maternal love for her good - for - nothing child overrides her and she is forced to do things in favour of AK which affects Jalal!

If Cvs can remember, they had shown the very reason why Jalal married Salima was to protect her from Maham who responsible for killing BK. Jalal was aware of this but kept quite as he considers MA as his Badi Ammi!

That wasn't the only reason he kept quiet.. Jalal did not have ANY proof against Maham.. only suspicion. There was no way she could be proven guilty. Plus, it was Adham who had instigated the murder... she only knew about it.
