Being fictitious is not a crime but I as a viewer want a pragmatic approach to whatever track you show. Again my views here.
And I hope Jodha uses the logic what I wrote about the kesar being out of reach from Amer royalty
once it was presented and tasted and like you said too, I want Jodha to question this point and let Jalal justify this himself. This is where practicality and common sense comes in a storyline, I want to see it. I think and hope that is not a 'gunah' per se.
I am in agreement about the 'Jodha-staying-mum' bit...hope they dont' reduce her from a fiery protagonist to a serial bahu...however, the reason Jalal imprisoned all of them was because the kesar was from Amer...and it goes without saying that just as much as Jodha could have been involved in it...her brothers could have also been involved in it...why, even her father could have - they were the ones who'd brought the kesar right (from the view of the emperor obviously)...so what if the tasters had tasted them initially...it could have been poisoned later...royal families world over are filled with shushed intrigues about how family members have been poisoned and murdered...
also, he didn't take any permission from Ruqaiyya...he'd cooled down on seeing her face that's all...after all, she is his best friend and the mother of his child...why, later on she tried convincing him that Jodha might not have been at fault but he refused to listen...he may have a soft corner for her but he has shown time and again that he cannot be brainwashed by anyone (apart from BK)
Jalal has placed all of them in housearrest so that they don't carry out any further plans of escape/plotting...much like the suspects of today-in a murder acquisition, its not upto the suspects to prove themselves innocent...he'd stated that his OWN people/he'd investigate into the matter - yes, they haven't yes shown Jalal/his people investigating anything yet which I hope they'd start soon enough...
also, Jalal was no saint- especially in his early years...History books have shown that his list of atrocities is just as long as his list of achievements...who knows, he could have committed worse than what's being depicted in the serial...he matured and wisened up in his middle years...which is when he achieved the title Akbar!
