jalal had send word to his troops in agra to march for sambhar asap...he did not want any kind of disturbance in sukanyas wedding,but he knew the importance of staying alert...he had asked his troops to be stationed at a distance a little further from sambhar so that is the enemy attacked they could be stopped even before they had the chance to enter sambhar..what jalal dint know was that adham khan had taken refuge in one of the surrounding areas of sambhar...and when he had heard of sukanyas wedding,he knew that jalal would definitely come,he planned to settle his score with jalal...he just needed an opportunity...

after getting sukanya ready,jodha also went to get dressed..she adorned herself in an orange lehenga choli,with beautiful gold jewellery,she was about to put sindoor on her head when she looked at her refelction in the mirror and found jalal standing at the threshold of her room...the color on her face changed,but instead of turning pale she was blushing involuntarily...jalal was looking magnificent attired in an orange and cream sherwani,with a mughal style turban and jootis...he was carrying his shamsheer in one hand and a small box in another...jalal comes in and stands right behind jodha...

jalal(holding out his hand to her)-yeh app agra main bhool aayin thi jodha...

jodha took the box and examined it,she opened it and was quiet shocked to find a payal there,her long lost payal...

jodha-yeh aapke pass kaise,yeh toh humse ghum gayi thi...

jalal-aapko yaar hai woh din jab humne ek dusre ko pehli baar dekha tha...aapki yeh amanat tab se hamare pass hai jodha...aapke paon se gir gayi thi aur hamnein sambhal ke rakh li...

jodha-ek shehenshah ko yeh shobha nahi deta ki woh ek ladki ki payal ko aaise sambhal ke rakhe...

jalal-magar ek hone wale shauhar ko to deta hai na..

jodha was shocked,what the shehenshah saying was just beyond her understanding...

jodha-yeh aap kya bol rahe hain...hum aapko jante bhi nahi thee,hamari shaadi raja suryabhan se hone wali thi...

jalal-agar hum none dete toh hoti na jodha..

jodha was speechless now...

jodha-aap kehna kya cahtein hain...

jalal-jab se humne aapko pehli baar dekha tha,tabhi humnein yeh than liya tha ki aap humse se nikaah karenge jodha...kissi aur ka hum aapko hone nahi dete...phir cahe humein kuch bhi kyun nahi karna padta...

jodha-toh iska matlab woh yudh aapne jaan much kar humein pane ki liye kiya tha...aapne jaan moochkar hamre hone wali pati ko marvaya tha...

jalal is a bit furious...

jalal-nahi jodha,aapko pane ke liye humein kissi ko marvane ki zaroorat nahi hai,humein itni bal aur kushalta hai ki hum aapko apne balboote par hasil kar sakte hain...aur woh yudh bhi humnein jaan mooch kar nahi kiya...apke bhai sujamal shareefudin ke pass aaye thee unse madad mangne,taki unhe ameer wapas mil jaye...shareefudin ne toh bas apna kaam kiya...

jab humein pata chala ki ameer numse yudh main har gaya hai tabhi humne soch liya tha ki aapko apni begum banakar hum khud ameer aapke walid ko vapas lauta denge.

jodha-aaisa kyun shehenshah,aap toh shehenshah-e-hind hain na,aapko begamon ki kya kami hai,ek hindu ladki se rishta jodna aapke liya kaise sahi tha...aapne zara bhi nahi socha...

jalal-yeh sab khayal hamare zehen main kabhi aaye hi nahi begum

jodha-kyun shehenshah...aap toh har cheez itni naap tol kar kartein hain...toh phir yeh faisla...

jalal comes more closer to her,turns her around and looks right in her eyes...

jalal-agar iss sawal ka jawab hamare pass hota,toh aaj hum zaroor aapko batate,magar hum bhi iska jawab dhoodh rahe hain...kya aap hamri madad karengi jodha...

jodha is spellbound,she keeps staring at him and his passionate eyes...she knows she needs to look away but is incapable...finally after a lot of struggle she looks away...

jodha-humein shama kar dijeya ga,hum aapki madad nahi kar sakte...nahi aapko maaf kar saktein hain...hum aapke saath nahi rehna cahte,hum agra wapas nahi jayenge...

jalal-aap wapas zaroori aayenge jodha...aur woh bhi isliye kyunki aapka dill apko majboor kar dega...yeh hamara aapse vada hai...

jalal picks up the sindoor box ,takes out a pinch and applies it to jodha head...and takes his leave...leaving jodha to think about what had aspired between the two a few moments ago...
