we are taking about...jalal being soft to jodha...

That's because he doesn't realise just how deeply attracted to her he is! All he thinks as of now is about her beauty & his fierce need for revenge, for her to stand in front of him with a bowed head etc. but the one person who has begun to see changes in Jalal, is Maha Manga. And before anyone else, when Jalal does start to love Jodha, it will again be MM to see it. Even before Jalal himself! At this point he isn't on the road to falling in love with Jodha like many people feel; though yes he is madly attracted to her. And I feel he feels its because of her renowned beauty. In part, that is true. But there is something else too.. Something that makes him halt his livid steps on entering Jodha's tent, and in a matter of seconds, he is smiling sweetly seeing his beautiful Rajput Begum, sleeping on her bed in a tent that he had no idea she had got erected.. Something that is unusual, to say the least. 😊

agreed. one more thing. I think along with MM, Ruks also will see the changes in Jalal. That will be fun to watch her jealousy and Jodha's indifference to her.

Ruq will, but by that time it would be too late. Jalal never really loved Ruqaiyya. And the way Lavina Tandon plays her, neither does Ruqaiyya. Yes there is an enormous amount of comfort & yes Jalal DOES love Ruq but not romantically. Its a familial sort of love. A best friend sort of love. Now if it was Smilie playing Ruqaiyya, then it would've been a wholly different matter!! She would've noticed it long before & would be caught between her own love for Jalal & making Jalal aware of what is blatantly clear to everyone else. But in a way, I am very glad that it isn't Smilie but this silly woman playing Ruq. Otherwise, it would've been Smilies Ruq all the way for me! Lavina looks the part completely, in a way that Smilie never did. But Lavinas Ruqaiyya is shrill, un necessarily catty & overbearingly arrogant. While Smilies Ruq was many layered, savage in a very restrained manner and yet, touchingly vulnerable. 😳

ya. Smiley's Ruks was good one. but i doubt if she could have played a negative character like Lavina does.

Oh this Ruq is such a standard Ekta maiyya vamp. It's very disappointing & boring. It's obvious Ekta maiyya wants us to be Jodha's cheerleaders & not Ruq's. am sure Smilie would've played a negative character far better than this Lavina Tandon can. It's like she's doing a parody of a Mughal Empress. But then there would've been a clear divide between Ruq & Jodha which is something that it seems Ekta didn't want.. And so we have this annoying scratchy green eyed cat playing Ruqaiyya!

Smilies Ruq was too. But it was more an assurance rather than the brash over confidence that the new Ruq shows. And the old Ruq never insulted any other Begums the way the new one does. They were very subtle put downs designed to show all the other Haram ladies who the real Boss lady was.. And yet she was fair in her dealings with them, atleast most of the time. Restrained, polite rudeness is so much classier than out & out shouting! And befitting a Mughal Empress. ESP Jalal's most favourite Begum. No wonder they're showing this new one in this light. I can't imagine Jalal loving her now 😆
