Wonderful!!!😆 Maham Anga-Bairam Khan duo was like "Tu Daal-Daal mai Paat-Paat) When Jalal was just about to kill both of them toghether, It was predictable that some ome will stop him. But probability was less as Jalal was known to Have no Mercy*Only mercy for someone known to him*, until Jodha came...That us foolish.Without Mohabbat you can't have a child?I was also likely to give India example, most of the wedding are arranged, how come they have babies? The Baby Stork Drop that?
I am impatiently waiting for the JA meeting, but how come Jodha ended up in Jungle??
Now I hope for that *It's purely Daily Sopiee* scene, Like a Tiger attacks and Jala saves Jodha, then those Glares. But Jodha feels Gratitude for him, and keeps thinking about him the whole day..It will be fun to see...And even Suryabhan calls her she doesn't listen as she is lost..
Again very Amaizng post, Aunty..

My dear, thanks a lot; you are so good for my morale! I was not quite sure how such a satirical, ironic post would go across, and you reassured me!

I only hope that as and when Jalal discovers mohabbat, he still retains his dignity and the majesty of an emperor, and does not behave like Suryabhan, hanging around his inamorata like a lovesick poodle!

Wonderfully written! It was just awesome as always. All of the post u make is just awesome! Yesterday's episode was really epic. They just wanted to show that Jalal doesn't believe in love and jodha does and he would start feeling something new when Jodha comes and it will take time for him to understand that it's love. First he would not agree that it's love but later on he will confess it to Jodha. Coming to the part about MA n BK convo it was the best. I have to say again awesome post!

Thank you so much, Pallavi my dear, and I am very pleased that you liked the Kate Moss joke!

As for the Hamida Banu Begum in the film, she was Shatrughan Sinha's wife Poonam Sinha, and I do not think even Ekta Kapoor, with her blue chip filmi connections, would have been able to get her for a TV serial. Gowarikar himself had to get Shatrughan Sinha to persuade her to do it.

I agree with you about this one, she grates on one's nerves.

Awesome post aunty..again a brilliant put together..👏.. and your Kate moss remark..!! could not stop laughing for a while.!🤣.. yes yesterday's episode was not up to the mark and specially Hamida banu and her sugar-coated voice...oh gosh..her voice always got on my nerves..and sometime she looks like lost in remembering the very next line of her dialog..How expressionless her face is..!!! 😲 I just wonder why EK did not rope in the actress who was in the movie as Hamida banu??..She looks from head to toe so royal and did a remarkable job..

Another of your awesome post🤗. Much has already been mentioned in the forum. At the end what I can say is that my heart goes out to Ruquaiya, she is the most realisitic & believable character in the show. The subtleties of her performance is indeed remarkable.
Apart from that the whole scene of Farida and her lover being punished was highly exaggerated. And so much bragging, just to show that Jalal doesn't believe in love. Ammi jaan was a major letdown👎🏼.

Awaiting eagerly for tonight's episode and also your analysis of Jodha's Kate moss enactment wala scene😊.

Good analysis...👍🏼

Yesterday episode was all about hits and misses...the entire execution scene was there for lecturing us about love...if, jalal and ruqaiya taking caring of execution themselves was not such a good idea...we had to bear the dialogues of Hamida banu as well( of course with a nasal twang)...

I too can't understand the obsession with 'let us have kids' track...I think they can hold that track for a while...why to rush it..????

Jodha needs to get more scenes..enough of eye locks and all...her character should be beyond it...it's a huge thumbs down for the writers...

The best scene was the face off between BK and MM...it was not a yelling match...it was all about getting under the skin of the other...BK did rattle MM by ridiculing Aadam khan...but, the lady will have the last laugh...

Meeting in jungle...Ahhh, they are not gonna meet...it is time for hide and hide..no seek...

I am happy that Jodha is not given much screen space as I find her a bore...What does she think -Jalal's head is some aloo pyaaz that Surya can chop off easily?

I almost fell off my chair laughing when I heard MahaManga say Bairam Khan in that weird hissing noise, upar se her bg. Ugh. Could Ekta have got two more comical actors? Loved the MahaManga in the movie. This one is just 🤢
and Bairam Khan, the lesser said about him the better.
And i read in one of your posts that Jodha isn't regal enough. I forgot which one so Im posting here. I completely disagree. She's one of the very few people in the show who know how to carry themselves like royals. She's not beautiful, pretty at the most. But the way she acts, she's mesmerising, atleast for me. She looks every inch the fiery but good-at-heart Rajputani. Though I would love to see some action from her side now.
One can't expect much logic from daily soaps especially Ekta's. She takes full advatntage of creative liberties. The mandir scene is understandable, even the jungle scene to an extent(she might have somehow got lost) but the Sasuraal scene was utterly improbable. Accidental meet would have been okay, but actuslly GOING to her sasuraal and her in-laws happy about it! :o
The Hamida scene was just to stretch the serial and Ekta's an exoert in that. She loves giving fillers.
Omigod! Sooo true. Her voice, it's like she's gonna start crying any second.
And I don't think Ruqaiya's longing for a kid has anything to do with remaining Jalal's favourite. She's more than assured about that. She probably longs to be a mother, the feeling of holding one's child. *sigh*
At that time, 20 was probably old enough to become a father. And even after having so many women but not producing even one child, that could maybe put a question mark on his being a 'mard'.

Yeah, "ridiculous" is the best word to describe the prison scene. I felt like I was watching a bad 70s Hindi movie wherein the hero is heartless and merciless and is being foretold that he will suddenly get reformed after meeting the "love of his life" . But here's the new addition: you will apparently also not have ANY children until then. 🤣 This seriously cracked me up and of course our dear Hamida was the one who had suddenly become a soothsayer and a mascot of mohabbat and love marriage in the 16th century.

Forget about arranged marriages being the only choice in India at that time, even foreign imperial and royal families didn't have the privileges of "being in love" during those times. You were betrothed and you were married. End of story. Therefore, I found this whole mohabbat thing that they were telling us again and again really overdone and no to mention just utter nonsense.

At lease she has now been officially declared to be the equal of Jalal in birth - Why aren't they stating that explicitly? There was a hint in an episode but still not good enough, I don't think anyone even remembers it. Plus, what's up with Hamida being so insensitive towards Ruq?At least they should've kept their relationship realistic. This is really getting annoying 😕

My dear,

Ir is so pleasing to find someone who shares my quirky sense of humour. It is often my fate to have my tongue-firmly-in-cheek bits taken seriously!😉 I was thus delighted when someone enjoyed the Kate Moss bit.

Yes, the prison scene was Ridiculous, upper case deliberate. And I so glad that you are with me on Hamida Banu's babbling about mohabbat. In an imperial family in the 16th century, for God's sake!

As for our common favourite, Ruqaiya, my heart goes out to her. Do look at my responses above to Apolloartemis and to charminggenie, especially the former. You will like them. At lease she has now been officially declared to be the equal of Jalal in birth.
