Today I found Smiley's dialogue delivery and acting somewhat inconsistent...she was totally flat in some bits...expressionless intermittently and then somewhat better in b/w.

LOL I said this in another thread yesterday and Ruqaiya basically corroborated it today...she thinks Jalal doesn't have a heart and the mind is all there is...and that is what she rules and is fully confident about as well.

But the eunuch Hoshiyaar gave her a reality check and said that it just may turn out that Jalal does have a heart after all and if someone else takes over that heart, what will Ruqaiya do? And Ruqaiya's reaction said it all...Deffo negative vamp in the making once Jodha shows up.

The opening Jalal-Ruqaiya scene where she defeats him in chess was good...and she is probably the only person to whom Jalal would lose so graciously...lol...cuz otherwise as he likes to say, he can't stand to lose.

The way they were both bemused over harem politics...haha...that was funny...

And wow the way Ruqaiya slapped that one lady was like woahhh...lol

Ruqaiya is sooo confident of her place in Jalal's life...lol that makes me look forward to Jodha's appearance more...and to watch how the tables turn😆.

The rest of the epi was dedicated to Shaguni Bai's ramblings and Mainavati playing tricks to hasten the Jodha-Suryabhan wedding...lol...

The last two epis have shown Jalal sort of taking a backseat and the people around him being put in the center to show who is controlling him subtly and not so subtly...Let's see if Jalal takes charge next week again vis a vis war plans and Jodha.

Precap has more of the same vis a vis Bairam Khan and MA talking politics with Jalal.

First may i just say u write very well, and have been stalking ur writing for few days, pardon me for that . Red So true...Smiley did fall little bit flat , and was inconsistent. Still, she was the only interesting object for today's episode. I love how Ruqaiya defeats her husband . That was abs my favorite part. When Ruqaiya slaps the woman and when she enters the harem, I love how it reminded everyone there who is the boss.😆She cleverly figured who the thief was, and it just manifests how shrew , and witty this woman is. Yup, the highlight for today was the eunuch questions to her. Those questions, her reactions and her confidence just shows that for Jodha harem will be place of thorns for her. I can't wait to see how dynamics of harem change when Jodha enters, and also between these two. It will be very interesting.

O God as usual kekta again had to bring Saguni Bai, and waste some mins on her.😳

I can't wait till Monday. It looks much better than today.😳

LOL true Ruqaiya was the only interesting thing in the epi...all of her scenes held your attention.

Oh I forgot to mention...the opening Jalal-Ruqaiya scene...after the chess game is over, there were some interesting dialogues b/w them...like the bit where Jalal asks her, "What do you want to be?" And she says, "Ek aisi ladki...jiske saamne dost apna dil, shauhar apna iman aur Shehenshah apna sar jhuka de"😆😆...What attitude the woman has😆...in this moment I was struck by that similarity b/w her and Jalal...wanting to make people bow before them...that heady euphoria of power that they've become accustomed to...another reason why Jalal is probably drawn to her...she's practically his twin😆...And this entire scene was like a game of words b/w them...he asks her questions and enjoys her witty, sharp answers...her brain is indeed her biggest asset👏...and she preens each time he tells her she is the most different and is the only one whom he trusts.

I see a sort of respect and understanding b/w them...but not any real emotional depth...which I guess comes from the heart...and at this point, it's all mind games b/w Jalal-Ruqaiya😆

U know ur the first one who i have pressed so much like button on comments like some few others.😆 I am not a literature fan, or have a skill for drawing comparison from other piece of works. I am happy being a science major, and I might not be discuss everything here at a high intellectual level like some people do here, so hope u can be patient with me.😳😆 I love how to drew a parallel example between the Evil Queen, and Ruqaiya Begum here. When her place was threatened by Snow White, she fought like a tigress to keep her place of power, domination and her influence. Same with Ruqaiya here, when Jodha will come in the picture. I am sure she will fight like a tigress, and will refuse to move from her place from Jalal's life. I can't wait till we reach that track.I think the whole again evil and good analogy comes to foreplay here. 😳

P.S. remember when she mentions Amer, and we will discuss it at night? Does not ring you a bell u about something about Ruqaiya's character?😊

Besides , Rajput in the show except one or two, there is nothing exciting about them. They are pretty dull here.🥱

N yup, this is what I call a balanced episode. 😊 I want this two tracks to continue side by side for a long time before interlinking. 😃 That's the way to run a daily show. 😉 stretch it beautifully.

Yes , the first part of the episode was wasted on showing some nasty silly stuffs between harem women .

Poor Smiley , I think she is having a really hard time getting under the skin of her character , today she failed miserably , still I'd like her to continue playing Ruqaiya , she has scope for improvement .

But the 2nd part , I really really enjoyed .

The only nice n worth watching part of today's episode was the Jodha-Suryabhan conversation . It was beautiful , heart-touching , simple...nothing that gives you a headache .

The precap looks absolutely boring , the same tug of war between MA n BK .

Lol, thank u .:) Yup, when Jalal asks her that question , What kind of woman do you want be? That just points out how tough, and multi layer this woman is. She is like a piece of box inside another. There is so much hidden depth layer to her character, and I just hope Ekta does not make her typical vamp. I hope she is shown someone who is multi layer because those are kinds of the character that are fascinating to analyze.Right now, I would call both of soul mate. They both are vindictive, love power and control, and are abs both sharp. Ruqaiya does gloat at the fact that Jalal trusts her the most, and uses it to her full advantage. As Jalal mentioned, they are better as friends than as life partners.They both have deep respect for each no doubt. It just stems from the fact they have known each other as child. Was not Ruqaiya's father the one who took care of Jalal too? I must say the man is smart for choosing a husband for his daughter.😆

While Ruqaiya is his friend, and Salima will later be his consultant too, it will be Jodha who will be his true soul mate. I just love that because I have a thing for soul mates.😳

How can two people, who are supposedly half in love, be such dullards? Paridhi looked stunning though. She is such a gorgeous girl. I, however, was thinking about Jodha's serious affection for Suryabhan. Can that be a problem later? Will she be hesitant to give her heart away to Jalal? And wow, loved Ruqaiyaa. I love every scene with her. She is like the female version of Jalal. Did you see how easy her relationship was with the eunuch guy? She is seriously complex. And the slap was so funny. 😆 The harem wives don't even matter to jalal, it seems. He just leaves it all to Ruqaiyaa. And I have a feeling, we may see the end of Bairam Khan in the next episodes.

Girly, it was too mushy.😆When i expect romance , I expect ignition of fire, and passion between two people. I can't see anything between these people here.😆Paridhi has a classical face which suits her for this role. I finally am glad she got some new jeweleries. No doubt, she looked really pretty today here. I don't think we have to worry about Mr.Pancake that much. I think she admires Surbhyvan,and he is the type of the mate she was looking for her. I am worried he might be a problem later in the misunderstanding track, that's it. Remember one thing, when Jodha heart will fall for Jalal, no matter how much she denies it. She will have given it to him without knowing. When Jodha will fall for JAlal, she will fall in love in a such a way where there is no looking back. The connection they will be share be soul, and mind. Remember , there is a lot of difference between a soul mate love, and a mere lover one. I think Surbhyvan is just a guy who has caught her fascination with her idealism . Nothing more... The love she will have more Jalal will thousand times strong. She will never have loved the same way she loves Jalal. I am not worried, but I am impatient for Akdha scenes.🤪 Yes, BK end is near I feel because Jalal will have to get married to Salima before Jodha. That's one thing Ekta has to show, and I don't think she can have creative liberty on. Ekta does not seem to be dragging BK's track that much.😊
