Historical Inaccuracies and jokes aside, I think the story has a beautiful message and everyone should just enjoy the essence of it - how love transcends religious and cultural differences, how a beautiful soul (that of Jodha) can anhilate the beast within Akbar and make him a benevolent and just Emperor, worthy of everyone's respect.
That is what I'm looking forward to with this serial - the victory of pure love over dirty/cruel politics, religious intolerance, and hatred . Afterall, I'm a sucker for Beauty and the Beast kind of stories. Even if it's fiction and not quite true to history, I'll take it. That Rajat and Paridhi are so easy on the eyes makes it even easier to overlook the discrepancies.

N srsly.. Why the hell are there so many topics saying the shows not following history? Anyone with half a mind would know that a HINDI serial cannot follow history completely! A show is supposed to last as long as it can.. At the very least 6 months. They don't have enough non-fiction matter to fill 6 months of episodes. And even if they had i hardly think there would be viewers. History usually dosen't interest people. There of course are people who watch hstory stuff but normally people are not interested in history. I shudder to think what would happen if they showed ni Jodha(because apparently she dosen't exist), only Bairam Khan and Akbar planning how to attack. where's the entertainment people? And soaps have mostly female viewership. And everyone knows females are suckers for love stories with hot men. Me being the norm. But this time i've fallen for the female lead big time. Didn't really find her beautiful at first but now 😳 !! n her acting is superb.
