Written Update - 4th July 2008

Hello Friends...

Here is the update for 4th July.. Pricess is away so its me giving the update.. Sorry for the delay 😳

Mandira welcomes the audience and also the judges..

Debojit - toshi and harshit
toshi - debojit and harshit
Rahul - toshi and debojit
Harshit - toshi and rahul
Abhijeet - abhijeet and toshi

Mandira says, Toshi's name has been taken by all the champions and Toshi replies to this saying It will not happen...

Mandira asks the judges what they feel about the elimination..

Farah - Dont know.. its close

Vishal - Best were Rahul, Abhijeet and Harshit... So, Toshi and Debojit can get eliminated

Shekhar - I wont use the word bottom, as it does not suite them.. They all are great singers..

Break...

Mandira announces that today there will be performance and judges will give scores which will be added to the previous week's scores and votes and the elimination will be announced tomorrow...

Rahul challenges Abhijeet... Rahul says, this challenge will make him the superstar. Abhijeet asks him to sing along with him...

They both sing Nihaar ho gayi...

Rahul - I give Abhijeet 8

Vishal - Not your best... You can do much better... Score - 8
Shekhar - While singing Bawal, your sur was not correct.. Score - 8
Farah - I just hope you are in top three... Score - 8

Mandira announces Abhijeet's scores - 1st Fri - 22, Sat - 29, 2nd Fri - 24 and asks him his opinion..

Abhijeet - I dont know what will happen... The voting pattern is also wierd.. But I think it should be sufficient...

Harshit challenges Debojit.. In the AV Harshit says you also sing Kishoreda songs and I also sing Kishoreda songs... So, Im giving you Kishoreda song to sing... Debojit says - "Ek mayan mein do talware nahin ho sakti".. So, lets see who is it.. Either you or me...

Debojit and Harshit sing pagh ghunghroo bandh... When asked Debojit he said, I cannot say but I think I sang better as I sang most of the part because I was challenged by Harshit..

Harshit - It is his type of song so he sang really well.. Gives 9.. Mandira asks, why not 10.. Harshit says, I have to behave like a judge so as they also say that the standard is increased, I too believe he deserves 9..

Shekhar - You both were singing flat in the low notes... Score - 8

Farah - Your voice is the USP... I wanted more pagalpan, but if there is a remake of this song, then you must sing this song.. Score - 9

Vishal - Sur chooke.. Score - 8

Fri - 24, Sat - 24, Fri - 25

Debojit - I went down when I came in today... Otherwise I should have got 10-10-10 for this song...

Its now time for Abhijeet to challenge Rahul... They sing chappa chappa charka chalein...

Abhijeet - I will give 10.. I have already played my game and now, I just want to give support and help others...

Shekhar to Abhijeet - You gave Rahul a 10, but I want to give you 10.. Both of you were very good... Score - 10

Farah - This is superstar performance... I want this pagalpan, junoon... I dont know if

Vishal - The performance was very good... I will give you full marks... I just became crazy after listening to ur song... Score - 10

Debojit challenges Toshi.. Their previous week AV is shown where they both fought... Then a AV is shown where Debu says he is now giving a song that is of Toshi's genre.. Toshi says even Debu has to sing this song along with him, so we will get to know who is better than whom...

Debojit - Toshi sang very well... He gives 9..

Vishal - The sur in murkhiyaan in the beginning and the sur in sargam was not correct... Score - 8

Shekhar - Starting was out of sur and even Sargam also was out of sur... But Antara was good... Score - 8

Farah - The perfection is not there in the song... We always think, we will give 10 next week, but everytime you never give us the chance... Score - 8

Toshi challenges Harshit.. Toshi says he is giving a song that is suitable for Harshit... Harshit replies lets see what happens as you also have to sing the song along with me..
