Mgal, this video is from 2011 bangla little champs when he was hosting the show. I think he is one singer who sings Rafi, Manna Dey ji's songs so beautifully.

I would like to wish a very happy birthday to the rockstar, the champion Aneek Dhar. May he be successful, prosperous and joyous. May he continue to mezmorize his fans with his God given talent. He makes me so proud everytime he sings because i know how much hard work and focus goes in to each and every one of his performances and recordings. God bless you Aneek. ❤️

Hey there Mgal. 😊 I just heard his performance and i did enjoy it very much. I edited this post so many times, trying to find middle ground, trying to be diplomatic but it's not working out. 😆 Even if the judges didn't like the key he sang in, what sort of reasoning is that to remove him from the champs side? He didn't forget lyrics, he sang in tune and with lots of feeling. So what's the problem?

I really don't understand the role these so called mentors have on the show. 😕 They only speak up and give feedback to the singers after the fact, after they sing their songs and while the scores are being given. If a champion or challenger mentor recognizes something that the singer is doing wrong (such as setting a song in the wrong key or in a key that may reduce the impact of a song) they should mention it to them during practice. Judges give feedback and scores but a "mentor" should stand behind the singer through the entire process from song selection to performance. I am not just saying this because of what happened with Aneek today. Another contestant that could have benefited from assistance was Shivam. Somehow, either he wasn't choosing songs that fit his vocal abilities and if only his mentor could have suggested something more suitable, he could have still been in the show. If the channel arbitrarily chooses songs and the mentors have no say, they can at least pitch in when the song is being aranged an practiced.
