Does anyone know which Zee show Krushal rejected to say yes to playing Ani in Jhanak? ….so he instantly said yes for initial softer Ani and then took up later flip flopping Ani as a challenge to play. Lol

It was a good decision though...Jhanak gave him kind of an instant recognition and appreciation for which many actors struggle for years...yes...his character was ruined and it's very much clear that the makers narrated the leads a different story at the beginning than what they have shown post Arshi burning track...still.. Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh Bose is iconic and will remain iconic...🩷🩷 I cannot think about any Zee show with exceptional popularity in last two years...so even if we think about it from the point of exposure and reach, Star was a better choice then..

No...it was loosely adapted from a Bengali show named Jol Nupur...but the story was not exactly the same...most importantly, Arshi was NOT an overhyped, over exposed character there...the OG show mostly focused on the leads story...in the OG story, the parallel lead was Apudi...she had more screen time and importance than Arshi...however, there also at the end Arshi married Anirudh as she got pregnant...bht the leads spent considerable amount kf time as married couple...the ML was not at all as dynamic as Anirudh...and the titular at the end became a renowned dancer whereas Arshi settled in domesticity..

It was good narrative. I think this could have happened when she become nutan. But it was changed when her father was killed.

Ofcourse it was a good decision to choose Jhanak. This role is the peak of his career regardless of whatever mess it became by the end......it will be a tall order for him to top the kind of attention and discussions Anirudh generated.

He may enjoy experimenting with gunda/negative roles ahead which his dedicated fangirls can keep hyping but unless he can clean up his appearance and choose a character with some basic integrity, I'm not sure how interested I will feel in his future work.

This a main character. They can not just replace him like that.

Yes it already happened multiple times in jhanak. Even reoccurring character like Shotton wife was replaced. But this is the lead ?!
