He is a moron who conflates zimmedari and routine with love and is unlikely to be ever allowed clarity on that difference because Leena needs to keep him as zimmedaari wala ghulam of Arshi.

His understanding of love has always been questionable...in earlier days he used to meet J at her room or hid things from Arshi regarding his efforts for J's career which were harmless and to some extent due to Arshi's aggression...however, it's not an ideal case for a couple if one partner is hiding stuffs from the other one..he thought since his intentions were nothing wrong, it's fine if he keeps the info to himself...so we can see a twisted understanding of love and relationship on Anirudh's part from the very beginning...and now he is actually paying the price for compartmentalization of his zimmedari and pyar...in love, the two must work hand in hand...if zimmedari lies somewhere else, love will not trust you...wohi ho raha hai ab uske saath...he could not detach Arshi from him on time, Arshi ne mauke pe chauka maar diya...aur Jhanak Arshi nahi hai...Arshi may be ok with half hearted Ani...but J, no matter how much she boasts about amar prem, she cannot accept the fact that Arshi will in one way or the other be related to Ani...isi liye Arshi didi k paas jaiye jaap karne k baad jab sachme didi ne report card dia, J lost her senses..

I feel it’s more a case of Leena trying to avoid showing self reflection in Ani about the lack of trust and understanding in his relationship with Arshi that made him want to hide things from her and never confide in her. Also no reflection on the fact that he never felt possessive or emotionally hyper about Arshi like he did about Jhanak from the get go. Leena’s desperation to keep her laadli relevant meant she didn’t want to allow Ani to draw these obvious contrasts to understand his feelings for Jhanak and disconnect from Arshi.

Instead, the lazy writing made it a case of Ani thinking he only got distant from Arshi because of her misbehavior towards Jhanak…barely any reflection shown about Arshi in general just treating him like a social arm Candy in her life. Only in HA track he pointed out a bit how he’s never been a priority in Arshi’s life but that was immediately whitewashed and flipped in Nutan track with Ani suddenly claiming Arshi mujhse bahut pyar karti hai islie psycho ban gayi hai insecurity mein but abhi bhi meri zimmedari hai 🤷‍♀️🤡

Ani is a good person so he feels the obligation of taking on zimmedari of even ungrateful abusers. But others in the show don’t feel any such obligation of zimmedaari and Ani also has no interest in demanding same levels of zimmedaari from others towards himself.

They really do need to show Arshi witnessing a Runak trip catch like the one in Choton ki shaadi 😂….Didi toh filhaal imagination mein hi itni paranoid ho rahi hai. She deserves a live demo taaki kuch new ayyashi waali allegations lagaa sake and I want to see Ani ke excuses in response. Kitni der chalega yeh facade as if he owes anything to Arshi 😂

Wohi toh. The excuses are getting funnier by the minute. So I want him to be caught in such a visual with Jhanak that he can’t excuse his way out of it and has to burst out with the truth that everyone is forcing him to stay with Arshi even though they all know he loves only Jhanak 🤷‍♀️😂
