From Anirudh's pov, he has lost everything with the last chance of getting married to her..now he is married..to Arshi..whom he has no romantic inclination..and who irritates him to the T..but he has sheer amount of guilt, sympathy and responsibility towards her..in this situation, all he wants is J being in front of his eyes...in fact he has wanted this from the very beginning...bas Jhanak uske saamne rahe...he will tolerate all types of tortures..during Kashmir night, in fever also he told her the same..he will nibhao saare farz towards Arshi..his only condition is Jhanak stays in front his eyes..he never realised this is a very wrong demand! He thinks since he is not actively pursuing Jhanak and only feels peace seeing her safe (well, his definition of safety doesn't include safety from his evil family's verbal abuses I guess), his demand/wish of J staying in his house is not wrong..
