Only paternal cousins (brothers kids) aren’t allowed to marry as they’ve same gothra. I don’t know if I was able to make you understand.
Dear, in Bengali households cousins are just like siblings...shadi to dur ki baat hai...bhai behen hai...sawaal hi nahi uthta! And it has nothing to do with our gothras...Bengalis do not marry cousins, at least till 4th cousins stage... doesn't matter whether from maternal side or paternal side..
But Leena to waise hi Bengali culture ke naam pe non Bengalis ko chuna laga rahi hai...given her filthy soch, she can do anything.
