There have been rumors circulating about actress Chandni Sharma, who currently stars as the parallel lead in the show *Jhanak*, claiming that she has exited the series. However, Chandni has strongly denied these speculations. She stated, “There is no truth to it. The current storyline is concentrating on Jhanak (Hiba Nawab) moving to Gujarat and living with another family. But that doesn’t mean my role will be diminished. I have a strong and compelling character, and the storyline involving the Bose family in Kolkata will remain significant. Jhanak’s departure from Bose House is not an uncommon theme in the show.”
When asked about her character, Arshi, Chandni described her as “a very strong-headed and talented woman” who has been in a relationship with Aniruddh (Krushal Ahuja). She expressed her frustration about how Aniruddh loses interest in her and instead falls for her sister. “It’s unfair,” she remarked, adding, “What woman would tolerate that? Yet somehow, viewers perceive me as unworthy, believing Aniruddh doesn’t deserve me. Even her mother cautions her that Jhanak might overshadow her career and her relationship, which ultimately happens. I resonate with Arshi’s feelings because her anger and unhappiness regarding Aniruddh’s lack of affection are completely justified.”
Chandni, who began her career with *Ishq Mein Marjawan 2* and later took on a leading role in *Kaamna*, expressed her excitement about her current role in *Jhanak*. “I’m thrilled to have landed this role. There are many twists and turns ahead, and I look forward to my character’s journey in the coming months. I have not quit the show and have no plans to do so in the future.”
