Right now it's hard to get a gauge on the impact of Ani ka fake cancer drama cuz what he said in BH wala scene kinda made it feel like woh phir bhi kuch itna chhupa toh raha nahin......clearly dikha raha hai that he needs Jhanak to live....lol bas woh fake cancer reports se Jhanak ko roka hai but baaki toh he is still being honest about everything else. Remains to be seen how they balance aage ka drama between him expressing honestly that he needs Jhanak and lying about being on the verge of death.....lol

But full Runak scene dekhne ke baad pata nahin kyun yeh drama itna serious laga nahin.....lol yes Ani lied about that one thing but baaki woh har baat pe apna sach and vulnerability sabke saamne dikha raha hai. I guess full impact of this will only become clearer once Didi ka pregnancy bomb drops....as of now toh Ani BH drama mein guilty nahin lag raha tha about doing anything to keep Jhanak with him

Jhanak ke so called usool convenience se jaagte hain toh yeah she can bash Ani over lying about this but baaki they can use the fake cancer drama for other permutations/combinations if Leena can look past her Didi propping up ki obsession

Execution of the sequence of events was sub-par in the episode. I like the BH drama but dialogues were a bit all over the place connecting Ani-Jhanak conversation to BH drama. eg. during the hug scene, Ani saying that he will explain to Arshi that Jhanak's life was in danger in monologue, and during BH drama, it was just about how he wants mukti fron Arshi... also Jhanak reverting to 'I'm trying to return Ani to you Arshi Didi' during BH drama after declaring 'I won't return Ani to anyone' outside BH (this I can believe )

Not sure if it was just poor execution or truly a last-minute addition. Jhanak was ready to go back with Ani even without cancer drama, and would be present for Arshi's pregnancy reveal in a few days. Wonder what Leena wants to achieve with this cancer drama... to trigger 'dil se pati' mode in Jhanak since it is deemed stronger than an actual marital relation, all just to keep Jhanak bound to Ani without an actual marriage during pregnancy drama, and the bonus is set up for a bigger misunderstanding?

Bol dega ki you didn't left me with any option and I didn't wanted you to live with me without a respectful position isliye shaadi karna chahta tha. Abhi toh yeh bhi bhot dur ki baat hai , agar shadi nahi hui toh phir toh yeh juth or bhi useless lagega lol. I was just talking about this scene. He was looking guilty that he's getting her affection in this way that's it or koi guilt nahi hone wala isko. I'm not at all worried about it coz it's not like jhanak will chipko him during this time wahi dur se hi seva karti rahegi .

Jhanak will always remain oversensitive about BH waasis ka bakwaas rather than standing up for her rights as Ani ki wife or her right to care for him....aaj bhi woh log use chup karva rahe the ki tum kaun hoti ho Ani ki zindagi/maut ke baare mein sochne waali, hum khayaal rakh lenge kyunki humara beta hai blah blah toh phir se dukhiyara muh banaake chup ho gayi

Lot of people on Twitter also seem to be thinking cancer report angle was last minute addition but mujhe aisa nahin lagaa....they obviously had to use some reason to show Jhanak agreeing to marry Ani toh aisa hi kuch laana padna tha related to his health or she would have never agreed to stay......half-baked script is nothing new for these writers...we've all seen how they wrote the whole Srishti-BBG backstory angle and court case ....toh itne paise mein itna hi milega in Jhanak-land.

Re: Arshi ko samjha dunga....arey samjhaya toh sahi usne sabko ki main Jhanak ko apne paas rakh ke uska khayaal rakhna chahta hoon....lol baaki details toh he is unlikely to give to Arshi or family waale when he knows they don't give a damn about Jhanak....he talked a lot of things in BH drama...yes mukti wala point bhi phir se raise kiya but he did start off saying ki main Jhanak ko apne se door nahin jaane de sakta...yehi mera sach hai....protection waali baat is implicit in that.

I think right now setup is just to show Runak on the verge of shaadi since J has agreed to marry him....Didi will walkout for now but return for revenge to stop Runak shaadi as per promo.

And Didi bhi apne usual memory wipe ke hisaab se har statement pe shocked expressions de rahi thi including when Jhanak said ki you never trusted Sirji ....every info is new info for Didi everyday....the way she also gave such an affronted reaction to Ani offering her money as compensation....lol as if she herself hasn't in the past threatened him many times ki heavy compensation vasool karungi tumse

Except for the bit when Ani reminded everyone how Arshi abandoned him during his HA and ran off to Dubai....then Didi was giving him contemptuous looks in response

She also gave a bitter smirk in response when Jhanak said "main palat jaaun toh"? ....
