Agreed that Leena Aunty always writes Ani with a twist so anything is possible with his character at any point.....but the drama always comes from Jhanak never understanding his intentions even when he's trying to help her ....the push and pull continues there.

Yes that OG Ani… but I felt Leena gave that characteristic to Ani coz the only way they could sustain a conflict in the earlier part of the story was through Ani being the guy who keeps the end as paramount - damn the means… coz if Ani was straight as say I hear Adi of Imlie was this story would have fizzled out as it could not have gone the Jol Nupur way…in Hindi TV so Leena cleverly crafted Ani to appeal to the audience… a guy with not a malicious bone in his body, lovable

Jhanak not cottoning on to Ani’s OG avatar and Ani not getting Jhanak’s moral dilemma has been the cornerstone of this personality driven conflict story .. So both aspects would come to head I presume and that’s the path I would explore at least if I was the writer ( can’t say what Leena thinks) 😂😂

Jhanak never articulates her moral dilemmas properly, which is why Ani doesn't get it....the few times she's made a clear statement like that argument in Kashmir where she said she feels so adrift in life because she doesn't know if she is considered married or unmarried given the uncertainty of their shaadi.....that got through to Ani and he reflected on that. But most of the time she has just yanked his chain with her passive aggressive double minded talk so Ani has always been confused about what she wants.

Ani's end justifies the means approach also creates many problems no doubt....but atleast he still maintains the baseline that everything he is doing is to help her....and when he tries to articulate his dilemmas to Jhanak, she always cuts him off and derails his thinking all the more.

Right now I feel OG Ani can only come back if Jhanak stays with him....then he can start thinking up all kinds of permutations and combinations to manage his family and Arshi....but if Jhanak doesn't stay, he will not bother with anything. And then there's Jhanak herself who will also continue to get triggered by whatever Bose fam and Arshi say to her and again unload that anger on Ani

Because Jhanak clearly said to Ani ki main KISI KO BHI choose kar sakti hoon, aapko nahin.....she never shut the door on AK becoming more than a friend to her so Ani continues to default to thinking that. LOL

Only way to shut this down for Ani is for Jhanak to clearly tell him that she chooses only HIM, no one else. She's never said that and that is why Ani's hurt and MU continues.

Kitna bhi drama dikha le but I don't think jhanak is going to leave Ani now. In one of the bts where she is grilling shubo she clearly told him ki ....mujhe vapis ana pada kyuki aap apni zimmedari nahi Sambhal paye , aap mere pati ko nahi Sambhal paye .....I'm dying to see that scene on tv. He deserve it after treating Ani literally like a gulam

Yeah, there are two major signs right now of why Jhanak won't leave Ani this time

a) She does not feel Ani is safe/happy with his family since they clearly didn't take care of him when he was ill....so that sets the basis for her staying in Kolkata now

b) AK has suddenly turned into a Runak shipper very impressed by their made for each other love ....so that shuts down the path back to Mumbai

Yeh two factors combined are laying out why she will stay. They are just dragging the episodes for drama with lots of repeated dialogues but end result yehi hoga this time it seems.

Sorry..in this case I cannot support Anirudh's perception...He cannot be so dumb..she claimed him her bacchha's father...she informed him about the operation just a spouse will do in such trying times..she said ILU (which I didn't like at all)...now it is J who is standing by his side whereas his own parents have abandoned him...after all these if a otherwise smart intelligent 30 year old guy still doubts her character, better Runak never happens..kyunki future me firse kisi bhi mard k sath dekheg ato firse shaq karega!

As for the points you stated....Ani accepted that Jhanak must be telling the truth about him being the baby's father even if he doesn't remember....but that is a seperate matter from thinking she is with AK now....because Jhanak clearly told him that she only informed him about the tumor surgery out of courtesy and he shouldn't read more into it than that.....she cut him off each time he tried to say ki nahin Jhanak, I know why you informed me...she kept shooting him down each time he said I know you informed me because you consider me your husband, she walked back her ILU as just something she said in deliriousness.....and she twisted the whole thing to say she's happy in Mumbai in this life with her new friend....so Ani has taken that to mean she has moved on from him even if they had one night of intimacy as per her claim.

If it was just about jealousy, he would still be angry.....it is more about hurt and he stepped back accepting that she is with AK now.

Ani's insecurity is a basic part of his characterization and Jhanak stokes this for her own ego to retaliate with passive aggressive sarcasm and vague statements each time...that dynamic will continue long term most likely as they go through various situations.
