Somehow all of the above seem too simple & normal for our makers. None of these scenarios seem to be as trauma inducing or twisted as the makers of Jhanak like to be. Can you guys think of any more?

He didnt acknowledge the marriage as they promised during the time of the marriage . And more than him it was Jhanak who was firm on not accepting the marriage . She didnt even reciprocate her love for him as she believes it is wrong as Anirudh is Arshi to be husband ..

Anirudh had expressed his desire or hinted her on how he valued the marriage , but was shut down by Jhanak in that birthday night. The Kashmir confrontation when Jhanak said about marriage he asked her the same.He always respected her decision and didnt want to force the marriage on her as it was purely circumstantial and both didnt want it at that time.

Yes, because he saved her it doesnt mean he owns her. She has her life , dreams ,decisions and self respect .

They could have avoided Arshi angle and still made Jhanak succesful even without Anirudh helping her find job and dance as she had already signed 11 ads and thus show her taking dance classes and pursuing her career and life with Anirudh and a romantic story in parallel.Any such story .But instead they just introduced a new set of cast and made the lead till then a side character with less to zero screen space .

The entire new cast and set up was just to keep Arshi relevant ,as insults and taunts continued only difference was location change.

She was financially independent enough to leave BH bcz of his contribution...it is not a small thing....

His character didn't deserve this... period...
