Nope Bengalis don't have the custom of wearing mangalsutras. Instead married Bengali women wear shakha(the white bangle)-pola(the red bangle) as symbols of their marriage besides sindoor.

Interestingly the shakha is made from sea shells and pola from corals

To expect anything progressive from ITV is like .. I understand our need to watch progressive stuff but look at this show .... What kind of rasam they came up with... Never even heard about such things..What even can one expect from them ....
