Jhanak should have taken that lota and hit on arshi s head. Stupid people especially that dadi and bipasha also coming with stupid ideas.

On the same grounds that you say why should the onus of breaking the marriage last on Arshi, can we not say why should the onus of saving the marriage lie on Ani. Why can't it be Jhanak. Every time he has told her that he will fight for her and he will even fight Tejas all he has received is insults. So on what grounds can we expect Ani to save the marriage? Won't it look bad on him because Jhanak has already told him there is no difference between him and Tejas if he tries to come to save her. May be i I guess that's why he hasn't spoken a word. May be a slight indication from her side would help him come out clean and open?

Anirudh should also have the guts to break up with Arshi if he’s in a dilemma about how he feels,it’s not just Arshi’s responsibility to set him free.

Actors can retain the audience for sometime only. If the script is bad and there is no character development then even their acting (no matter how talented they are) will become repetitive and boring. I think the only saving grace after bombarding us with hatred and toxic drama is to have jhanak running away from that family. From tomorrow onwards I am gonna stop watching it. I didn't watch today either except for the last 2 minutes along with precap and check if there is any development or not for a few days. If the show remains static then I will quit it altogether.

It could also be about how actors conceive the characters. If there is no development in the script then the actor is compelled to conceive the character badly because it is natural to have some growth if you want to keep on breathing life to the character

If he is giving up fighting for her, right now is the worst possible time for him to do that. And Jhanak should fight from the start for this as you said. She is probably thinking the least destructive way to deal with this problem. If she fights against them, they can potentially make her fate worse, and she has no mental strength to stop it. Both are just confused and in denial. AS someone said before, both are making ullu of us viewers.

We can make out Jhanak's state of mind , for her Anirudh was introduced as her cousin's fiancee and she can never fall in love with him.

But what about Anirudh , if he fell in love with her he can make Arshi understand else it will spoil their live. Now that he is seeing her everywhere and this marriage exposed also Arshi noticing Anirudh eyes speak different , they should really consider talking to each other honestly . Not fooling each other .

For once I want ITV to show a women who doesnt het obsessed with a man who doesnt love her anymore. She should break the relationship and walk away .

But he is egoistic an very conscious person would never do that .

She is so cruel ..not bothered about her grandson at all . Infact like someone said , his family more worried about Arshi and trying to pls her family.

ITV should become progressive when it comes to the leads not just others. In case of arshi ani himself says gives her hope then why would she walk away ? ITV likes to create certain angles in certain way. Couldn't they create a story two individuals falling for each other instead of all this forceful stuff but no thats how ITV works. One show works all shows follow same pattern.

Btw ladies, just curious about the cultural differences - isn't mangalsutra a part of Bengali weddings? I haven't seen any ladies in the show wearing it. And what's this shaka pola whatever they call it. Any bengalis here please enlighten me
