Uss din Valentines Day aur ghar mein Saraswati Puja, dono hi thi. Mein tumhe apne paas rakhna chahtha tha... Matlab ghar mein rakhna chahtha tha. Usi din meine socha tha, ek din tumhe acha khaana khilane bahar le chalunga.... you know? meri taraf se treat. Aaj mujhe vo maukha mila...aur ye log hum dono ko ek couple samajh rahe hain, Inhe lagta hai hum saat hain. Haan ye joot hain, lekin iss jhoot ko agar kuch log sach maan bete hain...tho usse ye asal me sach tho nahi ban jayega naa??

I know. Mine too Goddy ji. My heart is breaking for both of them. These inherently kind and good people don't deserve this happening to them at all.

Okay, I’m going to be the party pooper as always.
My comments are all messed up in my head. On one hand, I like watching RuNak. But on their other hand, Ani is still doing whatever he wants without considering Jhanak at all. I know he is in his feelings but it keeps nagging me that he puts his above hers. Even when he helps her, it’s never in a way that he is totally loosing. Even when he didn’t have feelings, it was to soothe his conscience and even that was done with hiding her letter on his decision. And now that he has feelings, Ani Craves instant gratification. I get it. He wants to be surrounded by her - but Jhanak’s situation to him isn’t like the average boy liking the average girl. He is engaged and Jhanak is already an endangered species in that house. Imagine if it’s found out, how her career and life could be messed up by his fam and arshi and her gang. You know ani, part of sincere loving is sacrificing desires sometimes for the other’s good. Ani always tries to keep some mileage for himself, even in his feelings. While I like watching RuNak, I can’t be completely pleased because this Ani we have right now is heavily flawed. I can literally predict how his character Will rock whatever future relationship they have and Jhanak will be hurt then. I don’t know about Arshi’s Ani. But if this handsome guy is going to be with Jhanak, it would do well for him to go through reflection and change.Thankfully, Jhanak has no feelings for him and is rightly upset. She deserves the best and Ani should shake off whatever baggage he has to be the best for her. Overall, I liked the episode and I like that he was his feelings but Ani is going to have to sit up sometime. Nothing can be casual with Jhanak given the situation, so chill and understand that far a bit. Btw, Ani’s obsession with Rahul was funny and the picture in bank scene was nice - but the most dangerous because now, one look at his phone (plus food pics) and no would believe they are not having an affair. I wonder how Jhanak will handle that now. And I say Jhanak because Ani can be flaky. Another big character failing. I still feel finicky about him when he feels he has something to loose. Ani should be less tight-fisted about self-preservation at times. Then again, I also liked that he is thinking critically about whatever is going on in him and their situation. It was also an interesting dynamic that he is falling first and harder and she is still unmoved. It’s like I can see Ani’s heartbreak when she leaves - Choton also said this, so I feel Jhanak is either going to leave because she has some feelings for him or because she has none at all (to her knowledge) - and she will only start to develop feelings after distance and when they meet after. I prefer the latter because it will be a hotter dynamic, one being hot and the other being cold. So it’s a mixed bag until further notice. I have to see how Ani goes from here. It does help that he and Jhanak have good looks. It takes half of my grievances away 😂.

He was okay with drunk Jhanak telling the truth but not himself. Why? because he knew they will blame her of ensnaring Ani rather than Ani being at the forefront.
Bringing her back from Tejas- Why did Chotton and Ani have to lie? They kept lying and lying only putting Jhanak on the spot and she blew up.
Dropping her off with Guruji for the competition- Why did Ani do that without her knowing? It only ended in Jhanak's unaliving attempt.
Ad shoot- He lied and made choices in her stead. Leading to Ani and Arshi thinking Jhanak keeps Ani under control.
All these situations only ended up putting Jhanak at the forefront of the firing squad.
As you said, his character and love for her is currently flawed which is creating issues. I hope that what we are expecting as character growth will have an impact positively on his love story!
As for Jhanak, she will abscond the minute she has an inkling about Ani's feeling, whether she loves him or not will be secondary as her first thought process will be - "I am stealing what is rightfully Arshi Di's, I will never do that ever." More than enough people have compared her to Arshi including Arshi herself for everything including status, fame, beauty and talent. This had convinced her enough along with her battered self confidence that she can never come near her cousin. And if she did, there are consequences. Big ones. So, she would never willingly pursue anything. This will only put her off more. This is one of the main hurdles Ani will have to convince Jhanak to overcome to love him.
