I thought the flashback is from Janak. But they both seemed to be conscious once they saw the garland.

Yup, I noticed. It was surprising really because they have been keeping her level concerning Ani while he went haywire. I think Jhanak is slowly starting to waver concerning Ani and I think it has a lot to do with his behavior in the hospital. If Jhanak had never heard him say all those things about her and cry thinking of her, she might not have been shaken. I think it’s an interesting dynamic…rather than being shaken because she likes him, which would have been dormant forever had they kept on as they were, Jhanak seems shaken because it seems that Ani treats her somewhat specially and keeps pushing her in a weird position I.e someone who wants to come between him and Arshi. Jhanak may literally just be remembering all his past actions to her even though she doesn’t want to. I do think that Jhanak already has a grudge against him though which will only increase after tomorrow’s episode. We will see how they will settle it - but one thing is that this serves angst. Jhanak keeps trying to fixate on their servant-boss relationship and anytime I hear it, I just get goosebumps. What passionate hidden feelings and romance never served between two socially opposite main characters? Not to mention, that Jhanak will go on to be successful and it’s this suffering stage that the real emotions are borne.

To expound on the first, I feel it's because Ani is probably the first person outside of her mother and friend circle to genuinely see her for who she is. Not Urvashi's daughter. Plus, he also respected her mother immensely and mourned her death along with Jhanak. I think that must have been the attractive quality she found in him.

This dynamic is somewhat similar to a novel I read previously. In that novel, the two leads are betrothed to each other from childhood for marriage. One of the leads begs for the attention of the other as they remain indifferent. Through the years that attachment and yearning turns to hate and their dynamic turns interesting. Point to note in their relationship is that the hate gives way to obsession and possessiveness, as they both know the undeniable truth that both are each other's intended. It was an interesting read as both characters were clearly toxic to each other with the obsessiveness but somehow complete each other. For me, I feel like everyone asking Jhanak about her husband will only push her to remember the incident more clearly, as she has already remarked she is not able to forget it in her drunken state. We were never just shown clearly as Ani's POV was shown under same circumstances.

For the second, hell yeah! I am all up for angst... An angsty story is much spicier and more fun to watch.

The third, it's her defense mechanism kicking in as otherwise, seeing the good person he is, she will fall for him even if she doesn't want to as its a recipe for disaster. Ani is her sister's fiancé after all. There is no chance Jhanak's and Ani marriage wouldn't have happened otherwise. However fun Jhanak may have been, Ani was pretty clear in Kashmir where his priority lie. Given more days, he would have wavered, but it's all assumptions at this point.

I think he is angry mainly because she refused his help, plus proceed to smack that down with the "Nafrat" word. . He is getting married to Arshi in his mind, plus, he probably might think it is high time to concentrate on her to compensate while trying his best to support Jhanak from the sidelines without getting involved too much. Somewhere in the back of his mind I am sure he noticed he is getting attached as everyone and his own subconscious remarked. All these reasons might push him to sustain whatever anger left to continue through the days, if so.

Jhanak is the one getting the flashback. She looked confused and affected at the same time. Not sure if she will buckle up her defenses more after this. What do you think?

Fantastically written Ani’s thought process right now. He does not want to think through and introspect his feelings. He wants to compartmentalize it and proceed with the wedding. But the marriage truth coming out, might push the wedding and they might spend some time together which will help them to understand the feelings better.

As someone rightly written in the previous post, Ani is very smart and clear as of now. He wants to get married with Arshi and do possible help for Janak. He also wants to maintain a distance right now as he might be afraid he has opened up too much in the hospital with/without knowing attendant is Janaki. This guy is calm,composed, having greater amount of clarity as of now and manipulative and can make people do things for him.

I just loved Krushal today his scenes with Appu di the way he performed was so good.

Not everyone can do hero Giri Mayaji! I am actually okay with Rahul reacting that way, some people have more self-love than others. Also, it should be noted that his family and business are in Srinagar unlike Ani, which leaves him in more danger compared to Ani as his family is not that influential and powerful like the Basus. It's convenient as it leaves Rahul to be a ray of hope if both Ani and Jhanak are stuck in a situation. Rahul is not selfish per say, but he also will not leave Jhanak laying in a lurch. Case in point, he did seek Ani's help in freeing Jhanak that night. He also did call her on her birthday despite being underground just to cheer her up.

Also he looks like a kid , he is indeed he cant take such responsibilties like Anirudh .

Rahul is a strong character in their life , with his name itself he is quite visible . They can hire a more mature actor and make Anirudh jealous

Ani is acting, and it's made clear today. He explains in not-so-subtle terms to Chotton about his recent set of actions. Chotton the hero is, is not able to contain his happiness! I am sure we are too! Kudos to the makers for giving a relatively stress-free and mysterious episode today!

Funny that Shubo and Tanuja are worried about Arshi not identifying Ani, little do they know it's their darling son who is going to give the mega surprise to everyone.

Even if he is acting, Ani still is angry with Jhanak for somethings, and it shows... I just hope that in trying to keep her safe here, he doesn't lose everything he ever built with her.

Precap: Now I am energized to bear another round of Jhanak's insults. Let's go mofos!
