Who does make a winner? Faisal? or Sanaya?

Competitions are among equals if they are to be meaningful. For Faisal, this is a meaningless victory ... ask him what is more meaningful for him, DID or Jhalak .. or maybe we can guess the answer.

For Sanaya, this is victory ... in 3 months of training, she gave competition to a professional dancer with 8 years training. Now that is WOW.

And if she wasn't popular, she wouldn't be first runner up.

Even if we take your word and assume that Sanaya is very popular then don't you think it was unfair to pit such a popular star against lesser known faces like Scarlett? Why don't you protest against this bias then.. Only non dancers but with equal number of fans should b allowed to participate to make the competition meaningful!!! Is it even possible?

Even if Sanaya had won this competition it would have been meaningless as per your logic as there were many other non dancers who would have improved but would have lost the competition just because they had less fans voting for them.. Kavita kaushik was one such example...

On FB, where there are no MIDS, Sanaya has at least two fan pages with over 500k fans each, and numerous smaller ones with over 200k fans.

Most IF San fans are not members of those groups. These are over and above the fans here.

Faisal has talent and popularity both ... no one is denying that. He is a great kid, very hard working and talented, and he was the best dancer on the show. Just that the rest were nondancers, so that part was pretty obvious ... if he hadn't been the best dancer after training for so many years, it would have been more surprising.

And are you trying to say that Faisal won on the basis of votes and scores, while Sanaya who came second, had neither? Either both had scores and popularity, or neither did ... the person who came first had both, and the runner up had neither, makes no sense. They were not the only two in the competition ... there were twelve other people who were defeated by BOTH Sanaya and Faisal.

Just to prove that Faisal was a deserving winner, Faisal fans are trying to demean and dismiss Sanaya. How are you any better than her fans?

If u check the comments made by faisal's fan they all wished sanaya good luck for her future and said its just a competition. Most of faisal's fans are still keeping it quiet. they are busy making videos, writings for faisal's win or now trending. they are busy in their world. its funny seeing sanaya fans saying sanaya is being demeaned when u all have been dismissing faisal even before the results. many said faisal is undeserving and he wont win and never saw him as a threat. they saw mohit and shamita as threats so many bashed them and their families. after that faisal won and same thing happened to faisal. We also have a patience level. We tried to be understanding but people crossed limits.

You have messed with other fandoms before they are all coming at u at ur weakest point. i see many DD vs SI wars still here

People who watch Indian Television, know her. It's very simple to understand.
And, she is popular, that's the reason she turned out to be the first runner up!

Yeah and Faisal is more popular among general audience that's why they made him the winner of JDj8 😳

Your statements are all based on presumption.

1. Have you followed SI all through the 32 years of her life? How are you so sure that she has had no training whatsoever? School? College and all her years in TV Industry? I don't even follow her but all I know is she's seen performing in all award shows, she even danced in her fiction shows. So how can you say she has had no experience in dancing and has zero training?

2. Yeah 8 years of Faizal's learning. 5 of which were spent in jhuggis. What level of training do you expect he got there? As far as I know, he knew some of hip hop when he came on JDJ but he experimented with all forms of dancing.

3. Did you SI fans even watch the show? Oh sorry shouldn't ask this question as you guys used to start voting at the strike of 9 without even bothering to watch the actual performances. Only if you had watched the show would you know just how much this trophy meant for the little kid. How much effort did he put. How eager was he for this title. How badly he wanted it.

4. And she gave tough competition to Faizal in dancing?? Not by a mile. Contestants are scored on their individual performances. They did not score Sanaya, Mohit or Shamita 40 because they thought they were at par or better than Faizal in a particular episode. They did so because they found them up to what was expected from them.

5. You found SI's performances Wow, but that's entirely your opinion. I am no one to disagree with your opinion but you assuming that her performance being wow is a fact is rather ignorant. I did not find a single performance of her exceptional. She was average at best.

6. What you call Sanaya's unprecedented popularity is a few hundred people with hundreds of MIDs voting all night. That's how she remained in competition. While in Faizal's case there were a large number of people, real people voting.

THIS.👏

they cant see that with sanaya being in the competition along with less popular actors also makes the competition unequal but they keep on going on about faisal being a dancer.

Now this is the type of fans who brings shame to their fandom. Stop attacking faisal. Why are u acting like faisal was born a dancer. He had to practice for years to dance like this and he didnt go to professional dance classes either. If u had a problem with faisal joining why didnt u raise ur voice in the first place. Also in JDJ he was marked more strictly than others. he has to perform the best to get good marks. I was hoping I wont see u in this forum anymore after u said faisal deserves to be bashed because he accepted the award which he has no right on. girl grow the hell up. What was faisal supposed to do. go and give it to sanaya. what a laugh.

As for popularity u have no idea who faisal is. he won DID little masters with more than 1 crore votes when he just started out, his serial maharana pratap got 2-3 TRP. just because u dont see his fans retweeting or trending doesnt mean we are not there for him. He grew up infront of us we have supported him.

You keep posting the same thing about how his win is meaningless blah blah. If it helps u sleep at night keep on repeating as a mantra but it doesnt make it true.

Also if u have real proof that colors cheated on votes please show it to us too. oh and dont say that she is #1 on IF, got trended or she had this many retweets. those doesnt prove anything

And people like you are those who make us dislike Faisal, which is a shame because he is a good kid.

I did know who Faisal was because I watched a few glimpses of MP while watching Chhanchhan. I didn't know he had won DID because I don't follow dance shows ... I followed this one only for Sanaya.

Faisal was never overscored ... granted ... let's leave out his three IB's and his golden ticket ... but Sanaya was underscored quite a few times ... even Shahid accepted that.

Faisal worked hard on his dance ... I have never said he didn't. In fact he didn't need to work so hard as he was competing with nondancers, and that is to his credit. It also follows that most nondancer competitors worked even harder than Faisal, because they were nondancers to begin with ... so at a much lower level. By praising his hard work, spare a thought for the others who put in even more. You are dissing their hard work in praising his ... pot ... kettle ...

If Faisal worked hard on his dance ... Sanaya wasn't born with her popularity either. She has worked hard for it. She is popular ... your saying she is not, doesn't change facts.

IF is no criteria of popularity AT ALL ... I completely agree. There is a whole world out there ... almost everyone in my own friends circle who are not Sanaya fans, know of her ... no one knows Faisal. This is because they are not dance fans ... nor do they watch historical shows ... it is NO reflection on Faisal's popularity. Popularity for all is in their own pockets ... Sanaya's pocket is larger than others.

As for Colors cheating ... it was obvious the same night when it took 4 hours after the final performance to announce the results. In previous years, results have been out at 9-9.30 pm immediately after the last performance. What took them four hours this time? Counting votes?

Oh and one last thing ... I never said Faisal deserved to be bashed ... i said it is obvious he will be bashed, but it's not right. if you follow my posts so carefully, please quote me correctly.

As for his victory being meaningless ... I stand by that. Trained dancers have never won Jhalak because a true competition is between equals ... not between trained and nondancers.

I will be in this forum till Sanaya's last performance ... sorry to disappoint you.
