Wonderful post Sayari! i literally was watching the act with my grandmom and all the senior citizens in my family!😆 I thought I would be embarrassed and someone would just change the channel...but no, it didn't happen.While I was covering my face with virtual embarrassment, the ladies were watching her performance and praising the lifts.😃 As much as that surprised me, it made me feel proud, because normally in such a scenario, the channel is either changed or I'm shooed away...but nothing of that happened!

@LoveFawad- It was a sensual act and so there is bound to be intimacy involved. They cannot do a sensual act standing 2 kilometres apart! I do not have any problem with sensual acts if they are done tastefully. If you do not like it, that's fine...at least please don't use words like "chipkoing"!

You are so right about the act exceeding all kinds of expectations and anticipation. The sneak peak showed the tamest portion of the act.. The lifts were done like a professional gymnast and Sanaya's improvement is so noticeable..

The under the shower bit- my jaw just hit the floor at that.. They were so so sensuous I was a little scared actually. even though we know she got 39. Jai's expressions could ve been a bit better but I wont hold it against him, coz he is a dancer first while San is an actor first..

P.S. Haaawww only 16 and watching this!!!! Aaaj kal ke bacchhe bhi na..😆

I did not expect this reaction, let me put my point forth, Sanaya in the last act did an aerial act, which as a first timer she was awesome at. Before this she did a classical baby doll act , which is a very innovative act, and was very entertaining to watch. Also her wedding dance was very in sync, performing with background dancers.
Remember the "lovely" act? Sanaya was clearly not confidant about her dance, but she has shown her growth, she has gone through the journey of dance and just look at her dance now!What an improvement!She has shown her potential at dancing, and I think if she is given a more challenging dance form, she would be able to pull it off well.
I have a serious question, I mean the middle portion with all the lifts and actual dancing and all were great, but did you guys actually like the beginning and the ending, when the water was sprayed on the two of them?
Suppose instead of Sanaya, any other actress pulled this off,would you still have sung these praises?Would you rather watch a sensual freestyle act or a more technical dance from an actress who has proved her mettle?
I have nothing against Sanaya she is just following her choreography, but do you not feel Jai took the easy way out as in JDJ all sensual acts no matter who performs them have always been appreciated more than any other dance form.
@ Shreya : my point was only that Jai was distasteful in his choreography, do you disagree?
@sayari : "chipkoing" is a term which means not standing 2 KM apart but actually touching each other, intimately, which was the crux of the last portion in the bathtub.
@ Deepthi : exactly, there are so many expressions out there, capable of being portrayed by Sanaya, she is a fabulous actress, why choose lust? I love her vivacious,bubbly and energetic nature, but even she was a bit mellow till the start of her next performance.I think she can do so much more!
