Coming to the performance, I really don't have anything new to say. It was SUPERB- Stunning, Unexcelled, Powerful, Enchanting, Radiant and Breathtaking. There was so much energy in it that just brightened up the atmosphere. It was like an energizer! The expressions and body language of both Sanaya and Jai was perfect to the T. The madness, the fun, the concept was conveyed to the audience very well. Sanaya's enthusiasm was infectious. I haven't watched the movie and I didn't watch Kangana in a lot of movies so I don't know how well she portrayed Kangana. But I am guessing she did a fabulous in that aspect as everyone is saying it. The song requires a lot of energy and liveliness. I think Sanaya and Jai brilliantly kept the energy level consistent and thus did justice to the song. The comedy was cleverly put into the act. The acting was an indispensable part of the whole act. Well, we really should not be surprised seeing the mind blowing acting as we already know how good is Sanaya's acting ability. I cannot choose a favourite moment in this act as I loved every single moment of it. I found the leap of faith to be really nicely executed. It was really dangerous but they did it perfectly. The robotics, as usual, was pleasing to the eyes. Robotics and tutting are SanJai's strengths and I am glad they are using it so well. The last part where they just become completely insane and dance like there is no tomorrow was really fun and cute. Sanaya's thumka's were really good, man! And there was one moment when Jai was lying on the floor and Sanaya was standing keeping her feet on each side of Jai. Then she was moving to her left and Jai was rolling to the same side. I found that very smart. She might have stumbled over Jai if there was a lack of co-ordination. The ending could not have been better. I found the act to have right amounts of both dancing and acting. It was a perfect mix of both!
Loved the judges' comments as well as Rishi sir's and Abhishek's. They seemed like they were speaking from heart. Whatever they said was absolutely true...the act was truly "Ek number"!! I found the scores justified because:
1. Sanaya and Jai deserved it
2. Someone got almost perfect score despite of his/her below average performance
Her reactions were very cute and adorable. She was genuinely surprised and overwhelmed. Loved how Shahid smiled and then patted her head while hugging her. Sanaya forgot to hug AB first and then hugged him later. His SRK pose was cute. She was so skeptical while going to hug Ganesh...Week 2 ka asar 😆 But this time, GH just teased her a bit and did that famous adorable swirl. This time Sanaya hugged Lauren as well. I think in Week 2 they cut her hug with Lauren because I don't think Sanaya would not hug Lauren after hugging the other 3 judges. We all know Color's editing skills anyway 🥱 Did anyone notice Jai's reactions? He was literally running around like he was on fire! These two are the craziest and cutest celeb-choreo jodi ever! Manish's dhamki of punching Sanaya was funny. I can say, hands down, this was the cutest vote appeal I have ever watched! She mentioned her parents...this shows how humble, nice and honest person she is. Loved the three hopping bunnies 😛
I think I should write something for Jai. His outstanding choreography was the reason they got a 40. He had bandages on his arm...he was in pain. But he did not let it show and gave his best to make the performance dhamaakedaar. If a celeb gets injured, the choreo can plan the act according to the celeb's comfort. But if a choreo gets injured, it hampers their dance. Both Sanaya and Jai have this fighting spirit in common as well as the humbleness. Unlike a few other contestants, they did not make an issue of their injuries. That is truly commendable. Hats off to both of you! I am feeling so proud of Jai that he not only choreographed so wonderfully but also supported Sanaya as much as he could. I have always appreciated the understanding and bond he has with Sanaya...today is no different. They are comfortable with each other and that reflects in their dance.
Did anyone notice that when the judges were giving comments to Sanaya, Diwakar was nodding his head as if agreeing with the judges? See? Even other Jhalak people agree that her act was awesome! Deepak was smiling throughout and loved how he hugged Sanaya when she returned back. Shamita was laughing at our doll's antics...we all were 😆 Scarlett was openly cheering for Sanaya. All these just prove how close has Sanaya become to all the other contestants and even they feel that Sanaya deserved that 40.
About the judges, I agree that Shahid and Ganesh have a soft spot for Sanaya. Like someone on this thread said, Ganesh is more like a teasing, criticizing and protective older brother to her. I think Shahid is also like a loving elder brother to Sanny. Just when her performance was announced, Karan was seen cheering for Sanaya. He seemed to be really excited!
