I am a Sanaya fan, and I had voted for AS ..and i know many sanaya fans who voted for him crazily ... shakti fans consist of the youngsters , who , going by experience, are not allowed by their parents to waste their money and more importantly time ...

keeping aside the faisal fan in me (ok cannot be completely kept aside😆)..JMO he isnt just "another trained dancer" like the ones in the past few seasons, who were great on dance, but lacked in fans..

There is every possibilty that Sanaya might win this season...followed closely by VD. In all honesty, I really wouldn't mind if SI wins because I like her, hehe!

This isn't meant for the TM and it isn't the actual point of discussion, but I just wanted to make a point. Supposing Sanaya does win...I know there will be a lot of people coming out in a frenzy saying she doesn't deserve to win because she isn't the best dancer from the batch.

But then if we look at the format, it is in the hands of the viewers. They have been given the power to choose for their favourite contestant and that doesn't have to be the best dancer with the best technique.

At the end of the day, the whole point of a competition like this is to see a celebrity grow as a performer and I personally like to see the transformation from a non-dancer to a dancer. I don't find anything fascinating about a flawless dancer from day one. That's not much of a journey, IMO.

I am sure she will since she has big fan following and will receive lot of public votes

ok so if we take it from layman's POV, who watch these shows just for entertainment and are the ones who contribute on trps, regardless of fanbases and the ones who have no idea about IF..what exactly would help in connecting them to the not so good dancers?

^^ From layman's POV ... I am not either a trained dancer nor very interested in dance, especially not the modern dance forms, I like classical dance. I don't watch most dance shows, i prefer singing reality shows. I watch JDJ because it has celebs who interest me ... I watched the season with Bhaichung, I watched Shaan's performances because i like him as a singer, so was interested to see him dance, same with Chang, he won Indian Idol which I watched, so i tuned into JDJ to watch him dance. I watched Sreesanth's performances. And I think most people would watch JDJ for the same reason ... to watch celebs perform ...For dance lovers, other dance shows are far better in terms of performance ... here, the lure is mainly the celebrities. This season, I am watching for Sanaya ... if she was not there, I would probably have tuned in for VD ... but not for Scarlett or Faisal, as I don't know them.

You know when I found out Vivian Dsena too is participating I thought well maybe he could win then I can to a conclusion it's not possible. He may be the first runner up but winner no. He has a lot to work on PLUS Sanaya fans are MORE hyper active when it comes to votes. Haha.

But yeah good luck to both infact all the participants . Wish the best one wins. Whoever it is. Let's see.
