Mona, Prachi, Baichung, Chang, they all came a long way as performers and showcased a true journey from non-dancer to dancer. That's what made Jhalak fun and it doesn't happen anymore.

Judges are not letting them to do hardworking to earn those 8/9/10 marks and this is happening from past seasons. This year all ace choreographers of Jhalak didn't participate so quality dance is missing. Trained dancers participation always for raising standard of Non dancers. Let see what will happen in future performances because around this time they are getting enough time for preparations but in coming weeks, days will reduce n they have to learn new dance form with in 5 days n prepared for performance. Those who bear all these pressure will come out as winner.

Blame the channel.
Colors has never allowed honesty n integrity to be rewarded in performances, scoring or even deciding upon the winners...they try to lure the audience with unnecessary gimmicks and OTT drama coz TRPs are all that they care about.
Therefore, I like watching the show overall but I take everything with a pinch of salt.
I felt Vivian did not deserve an 8 at all...a 7 would have been ok...he hardly danced.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely inspired by Subhreet and I feel that she is a brave heart n deserves all the accolades, but at the same time, this is a dance show where everyone should be judged on an equal footing. It is so apparent that she will be judged on a completely different set of parameters n I don't find it to be very fair. I'm not trying to be insensitive here but that's the truth.
As for Faisal, he was superb...I could not take my eyes off him. But I guess, probably for the first time in jdj, the contestant outshines the partner big time. Faisal is more experienced, is more fluid, has a lot more finesse as compared to Vaishnavi. I really think he should get a better partner who can match steps with him. He is 16 and according to the norms of TV, he is supposed to flirt with women and show off his charming flirty side but if we take that into account, why can't he get an adult partner?Sometimes, I really don't get the psyche of this industry.

Well, Radhika was good I feel but she can do much better and since she is a dancer already, ppl are going to have higher expectations.
As for Shamita, she is good and she knows it. But then again, I already get the feeling that she woud be favoured a lot because of her Bollywood connections. KJo has never been good at hiding his nepotism anyway!

This is grand premier night and all contestants must be preparing their performances since long time so it's obvious their first performance should be grand because they didn't prepared performance in two three days. Even getting plenty of time they fail to impress. They are not going to learn only one dance form, each week they have to learn new dance form n idea of presentation.

But instead of raising the bar, the trained dancers are lowering their own! I've seen FAR better performances from Shakti, Mukti and the likes than what they showcased here.

I don't have a problem with the choreographers. I miss some of them, sure, but I do feel they've still got a good bunch. I feel leniency in judging and marks is what is harming of quality of dance, it all boils down to that. The HUNGER I used to see in the contestants to EARN high marks is missing and that's what makes these past seasons feel so passionless.

But I am starting to sound like a broken record now. I need to let go of what this show used to be and just deal with what it is now😆

Faisal was outstanding. He outdid his choreographer!VD was outstandingly stiff! Most of the contestants have no shows which means they have ample amount of time to practice, whether that is at the studio, at home with their partners or wives etc and yet they are not depicting anything to make one go wow with (other than Faisal).

Why is KJO a judge again? I fail to understand this every season! KJO 😆cannot dance to save his life. What exactly does he base his scores on?😆

Mohit did well today. Faisal was awesome. Shamita has amazing potential.

I cannot wait for the second set of contestants tomorrow! And the week preceding this to see exactly how rubbish the judges' scores become.

Faizal was over shadowing vaishnavi so performance was a bit off. otherwise faizal was out standing. and he deserved more score but from rangeela u can't expect anything good and I don't know what was good about Radhika' s performance and was given overscrorring.. even Vivian didn't deserved more than 30 but his scared face and nervous ness and oh he actually performed deserved at least 30 Lol

about subpreet I don't know why they were showing sympathy I hate it when people do it.

Their performance should be mediocre next time as such performances equal better marks!😆
