Why can't a professional dancer win??

some people say that professional dancer should not be in the show,while others say they cannot win.😲

Why??

is that the motive of jhalak? No

it is not the concept itself of the show

Its dancing with the celeb and the requirement of the celeb is not specified

He/She can be a professional dancer🥱

since it is the indian version of DWTS comparisons are bound to happen

there people working as-cheerleader,gymnasts,dancers,sportsperson won

I don't see why this cannot happen in JDJ

And lauren should not win because she is a pro?? ridiculous

what's her fault if she is a pro?

blame the channel who brought her!!!!

she has been working hard till now and i can see the result.

for a pro dancer,it is not easy to give good performance,even if they are flexible. her acts are difficult to execute and she has done it with excellence.

She certainly has an advantage over the others and that's WHY it is called a competition. The strongest one should win.

last year Isha was the potential winner(though i was not supporting her)

She had to step back so that some popular trp gainer win #scripted

That I find is very ridiculous here, if a pro dancer is brought in the show, people go around beating the drum about how it's an advantage..but to be true, the telly celebs also have an advantage of getting highest votes, their fanbase, the channel promoting them..it does call for some benefit! Whether the telly celeb has knack at dancing or not, at the end of the day, they'd survive given the crazy fanbase..

Exactly the strongest contender should win...it's a competition after all.

I Have no problem if professional dancer win the show ,i like lauren and dd and watching show for them anyone of them wins i hv no problem but i want both of them in finale along wid shaan .in jdj winning depends on talent +popularity let's hope for best keeping my fingers crossed .last time i was rooting for isha as i loved her and sal performance this time i m rooting for dd and lauren but this time i want a gal to win competition

Looks like I should open a thread that DD or Sid can't win since they have the advantage of having highest vote bank amongst all, "Not fair, not fair, not fair at all" 😆😆

Agree with you on every point .. and Agree with all the above comments tooo...

I also cant understand from where ppl came to an conclusion that a professional dancer cannot/shouldn't win .. ? If they can participate why they cant win ..??

I dont know whether lauren will win or not .. But She is one of the most deserving contestants to win this year Jhalak .. If not her I am Ok with anyone winning as long as that person deserves to win the show ...

i agree..the idea is to have good dancing..and if one is a good dancer, we say, its unfair..but at the same time, these so-called "dancers" have almost no vote-banks..so how on earth is it an advantage??

ditto.

also being a dancer does not mean less hard work. Dancers are given difficulty steps and they have to work harder

i agree..at the same time, the dancers are judged on their personal growth, not compared to others for sum wierd reason..come on, its a competition...so an avg dancer is scored 30 for "efforts" but a better dancers is scored lesser on a much better performance due to "expectations"..as i see it, if ur a "good" dancer also, its a DISADVANTAGE in JDJ..be it shveta/sushant/hard kaur/lauren

if in that case , ekta and arti should not have been gone,instead sid or karan.p would be eliminated

she is the most deserving one to win...

Sana..too has done fab until now..its another matter is judges r not giving consistent and proper scores...but she never got below 9 (i think)..considering she is not a trained dancer...

Mukti can also lined up if her concepts r good enough ...she is excellent in all styles
