Why can't a professional dancer win??

Well this is what I had created a topic on and everyone started whining and complaining.

For years, watchers of Jhalak have always complained about the professional dancers in Jhalak. This year, magically people are much more accepting. Why? Because of Lauren?

Yes the show is about celebrities. We get that. But I think there has to be some level of fairness. Lauren does this for a living, obviously she is going to be good at everything.

I don't have a problem with professional dancers participating in the show. I get it. They always need them to give those strong standard-maintaining performances. But this year, there are too many of them. I also don't think they should win.

If tomorrow, there was a "singing with the stars" show, im sure everybody would object to Shaan being a part of the show. Or if there was a show on body building, there is no way anyone would let Sid participate.

Plus, the winners of Jhalak, have always been non-dancers. There is always a journey. I don't think a professional dancer have an impactful journey in JDJ.

Lauren is over-qualified for the show. Like I said before, she should be a choreographer on Jhalak. 80% of the time she's out-doing Puneet for god sakes 😆

i dont know y they cant , there were so much hupla n bashing against esha last year from one undeserving talentless actor's fan's side , just bcs she was professional ,color forced her to quit , they badly used her n bharti for trp n standard , bharti spoke but isha was soft from heart so she got hurt by color politics n beacame quite , thatwas the worst season in jdj history

i mean if easa was proff dancer then that untalented actor was proff ,trained stunt vala ...ek tarah se both r professinal bcs that loser also did that thing "stunt" in which he was trained

I think it has to do with the votes. If they bring a pro dancer with large fan base it will be a perfect thing 🤔

i don't really care that lauren is in the show - so there is a professional dancer in Jhalak - what's the big deal? however, this year there seem to be almost too many - you don't really see the growth of dancers this way. And I feel really bad for Shaan - he attempted something that was really difficult (KVB does the same as well) - maybe these ppl are pushed to do something really difficult because there are other contestants that are leap years ahead of them.

Take Sid for an example. He is clearly not a dancer and I doubt that he will give a performance that is more great than above average if that. Pair him with a bunch of dancers - i mean if Lauren is giving a 30 performance then comparatively Sid's acts deserve a 10 (no offense to Sid - he's such a sweet person). If ppl like Lauren start winning Jhalak - well Sid is never going to take up a show like Jhalak. Another reason that dancers do not seem to win this show maybe related to audience voting - which makes a big difference in deciding who the winner is...

sid is a bad example

he needs to be eliminated ASAP

he has no growth in his performance and most of the time he does not dance

but his choreo dances
