Punit's concepts similar to Salman's - Page 3

Can someone please explain punit and Lauren's dance concept from this week. I didn't understand it.

Being an avid fan of both Salman and Punit [yeah i kno no siggy or icon on my page whattevz i still like P-unit]

I actually have to agree Last season completely belonged to Salman and and this years totally punits for the same reasoning. they both had/have very very very talented hardworking dancers

i did notice that the horror act really did remind me of Salman but they have completely different styles of contemporary.
either way i enjoy watching the both of them

Also! about people saying that Punit hasn't wooed anyone if you guys watched last season Punit had a average non trained dancer Shibani and she did wonders it was a shame they got out way to early I was seriously rooting for them

Punit has a different style to him. Themes may be similar, but nothing else is.

So I don't think its fair of you to imply or assume that Punit copies Salman when that is not true and it is definitely NOT true in a dancing POV!

Comparing the performances, it is clear that last season Salman did well only cuz of Isha. Looking at this season, I can bet that Isha had a big hand in the choreography and even the concept. Looking at how he didn't live up to his standard this season, it clearly shows how much of an edge he had by having Isha last season. He is highly over rated and over hyped and the reason is one and only Remo. There are many choreographers this season and even last who are far better than him when it comes to innovation and dance steps.

Salman = EPIC FAIL and this season is the biggest proof of it for having a weak dancer compared to Isha and Yana.

I want to see Salman get an ordinary dancer who has two left feet like Baichung or some one who is a good dancer but has weight issues like Bharati or an average performer like Chang... A celebrity who needs to be built upon and not like Yana, Isha or DD... If he does wonders then, phir maane...

Punit's choreography is definitely better than Salman's ... Not always but most of the time... I am talking about choreography and not concept... Punit does come up with nice dance moves where as in Salman's choreography all I see is complicated lifts slighty modified which I have seen used on other dance shows...
If it wasnt for Remo, none of these two got the appreciation that they receive today...

Bingo, funny how people are comparing the levels of training now when both Isha and Lauren are trained in their dance forms. And I agree completely with your post, Salman wouldn't have been good if it wasn't for his partners. He would have been a big disaster, if he had got someone like Sid or others you mentioned. It's good to appreciate choreography but it's silly to blindly ignore having a trained partner as biggest edge for these choreographers.

As for Punit, he already proved he can work with non dancers when he had Shibani last season. I was impressed how he trained her from expressions to dancing, her improvement showed who is the better choreographer. Though I have to agree, Remo is always biased to his students and it simply sucks to witness a judge being biased, ruins the entire concept of competition.

I would just say ...Wen salman got a dancer like isha who was not even half trained as lauren ...he showed some marvellous performances ...and choreographing wise season 5 belonged to him ! Not to forget in season 4 as well which was his first..he was fab ! 😃

Edit : From 1st to 8th act ... season 6 also he is trying his best to come up with new concepts ...choreography wise ..1st act ..4th act ..6 act ..8th act all were fab !

the concept is dancing with tthe star...all the stars who sign up for it are aware and more than winning everyone comes to learn or in some case try dancin so i think its a fair competition
