That's the misconception, she can put on anything in her personal life. When she is on a show, she isn't Drashti the person anymore. She has to go by the need of the role she plays in the act, the broadcast laws and the targeted audience etc factors.

But as I said before, I say again, dress is not the biggest factor to decide vulgarity; it's choreography and bad execution by the dancer makes an act vulgar.

They do have scope of changing any dance move, in consultation with the choreographer, they can have their opinion in dress too...and finally expression and carrying out the dance is their job... So please stop defending the un defendable...😆

I decided to comment on it after her performance but ..just my 2 cents..

her costume is not okay bec. she's supposed to be this villager girl...if they had to do Salsa, they shouldn't have chosen an old song ..like if Sana was dancing on "nain lad jayi he" with this costume which she was wearing this week, it was completely out of place..her song was matching with her costume and the dance steps, that's perfect coordination..this is not the case with Drashti..

two, i didn't like the choreography, it's crossing the line of decency..it's neither cute nor sensuous...just my opinion..

We're all in the 21st century. I think the world and India itself has progressed enough that people, no matter who, are accepted in whatever they wear. And Drashti is a modern, young, independent girl. I'm sure she's not forced to wear them. Live and let live, I say!

And this is a dance reality show. Not some cooking show or singing show where what she wears doesn't matter. In a dance show, costume makes a world of a difference. So if she is doing a particular style or genre, wearing clothes that suit the style is of utmost importance. Classifying it as vulgar doesn't work.

As for the body suit, it's personal choice. According to me, it doesn't make much of a difference except hiding curves which is why people tend to wear them.

Anytime before, I haven't found her vulgar or anything, Charu.. But this week's perfomance, u know the costume given to her was not really needed.. 😕 Lets see hows the oerformance, though.
