Lol..Another thread on vulgarity!!! I can't believe everyday I come on this forum and there is a vulgarity thread on DD😆...That dance was so long ago!! I wish people will talk about vulgarity after seeing Lauren's performance this weekend...Continue this vulagrity thread, b/c the previous one reached like 30 pages...WOW!! People do have a lot to say about vulgarity based only on a slight licking scene...👏..Please continue...I wonder how into detail you all will talk about after watching vulgar dance moves by Indian actresses today..Wish there was a forum for that on IF too! Would have loved to see you all debating, or is it just only for 1 constestant that is given so much special treatment on this forum..?!

I see where you are coming from seeing that Madhubala is a household name and its difficult for some to digest this new avatar. However, I don't find her clothes vulgar. This is coming from someone who watches american dance shows, so it's nothing unusual for me. Other actresses and dancers have done it in the past and I don't really care unless its something over the top.
The only thing that I found vulgar in her performance till now was Salman licking her leg. I thought a kiss would have been efficient. Anyway, that's just my point of view...otherwise she seems fine.

I live in the U.S. and the clothes that these contestants wear is no where near to even vulgar than what I see here!! It is funny how members on this forum keep preaching on the clothes, but they forget that Indians in real life living in India especially in Northern India, have broken all the barriers, and I have see far worse dressing sense there, than what I have seen in the U.S..Right now Indians are at point especially for women, that exposing your body sells!! Be it in any industry, women in India have taken the western thinking a bit too far, so blaming on the contestants is unjust and unfair!

Apart from that, entire Egyptian circus was loaded with vulgar moves, entire concept was vulgar...

I am one of the few who thinks there should be certain distinction between an American dance show and an Indian dance show. India now represents the whole South Asia and its sad to see how much India copies everything Hollywood does. It's not only Drashti, sana , Lauren , others should all understand that reality shows are reality shows and people watch it with family . Lauren shouldn't have done the OTT so g with the sari , there are many other dances she could perform.
Drashti should also refrain from wearing super short clothes because its not necessary a villager does not dress like that and it only gives us the wrong impression.
Sana , she should also stop wearing such clothes , I don't think dancers require such clothes. Sana can easily wear pants and not wear tops so short.
It's sad that woman turn to exposing when they have nothing else to do.

I live in North America too and I cannot agree with what you are saying. People from decent families, in right seasons where clothes that are appropriate. I have never seen anyone dress unlikely to stand out but that's the case in JDJ. If people go to the beach here they wear a bikini, if they go to the club they will wear a dress but the ones that do dress like these people are called "white trash"😆

fst let me tell u that there is huge difference b/w u.s and india. There in us,people can watch anything with their kids n viceversa, but there is still nothing like that in India even though over the years how much it developed. Also, i never get why to justify Drashti's vulgarity, you acquit examples of North indian gals? What hv u seen of them that u thoughtlessly keep degrading them in dis forum? Have u seen them walking naked or semi naked around on the roads? Even i am a north indian gal and i know how me and other gals stay here even though in big cities gals wear skimpy dresses but they also never wear those kind of dresses that fugly Drashti wears in Jdj show.. Besides, her performances aren't vulgar and embarrassing for one when he/she watches it alone but find them embarrassing when he/she is watching with their family. In U.S u can watch her leg licking performance without having inhibition with your family, but we have to think hundred times before we watch her in rauncy clothes on TV,with our family. And, i hope you stop giving examples of north indian gals that i saw this or that of them while you might not have seen anything of them. .

It doesn't matter if the contestant is a trained dancer or not ... Doesn't it look vulgar when a trained dancer wears really short clothes that isn't much needed ??

it is not only the costumes but the steps too that makes a performance look vulgar ...
