Lets face it, some of the most strongest performances that have happened on the Jhalak stage, have been performed by the professionally trained dancers (Isha, Shweta Salve, Sushant, Lauren, etc) Its because of performances like that, that makes Jhalak what it is.
If they brought on 12-13 non-dancers, the show would never be successful, who would want to see 13 non-dancers perform averagly? Imagine watching 12 Drashti's or 12 Siddharths or 12 Shweta Tiwari's...LOL Do you get my point ?
The addition of the professionaly trained dancers, is just to give the viewer some good performances, they are more like gap-fillers. That's why we don't see any of the professionals actually winning. Lauren isn't going to win, the kids aren't going to win. They are just there to entertain.

Bang on..

I agree with TM on wild card entry and less drama.

good post.i hate the drama quotient of jhalak and everyone flirting with madz part.stick to dance only and the anchors can throw few jokes here and there but not the entire drama.

No one wants to know the facts why colors can call dd and sid by there screenames and cannot cal others but all ready to bash

That's cause they themselves know they are busy spreading nonsense. Free-bashing, that's where their 'smartness' works the most. Besides, one should be logical in order to share their opinions in logical threads.

good post👍🏼

That will never happen. Think of all the money the channel will lose out on. It is a business after all.

I always wonder people's definition for non-dancer. 😆 People can be so illogical, I tell you.

@TheJake: well aren't they all technically non-dancers if one hasn't ever attempted Latin or ballroom dances? Like I know Ballet, but if someone was like do the Lindy Pop or Hip hop--I would have to learn that from scratch and my Ballet knowledge isn't going to help me. Likewise, if Lauren knows and is a master of hip hop that's fine b/c she's doing other forms that she and her body doesn't know. Which means you forget all prior knowledge and start from the beginning.

I guess it depends on how much Mukti really knows and how much she pushes herself.

The name's Jake. 😛
Well, I prefer the word technical dancing more than non-dancing. When I think of dancing .. The definition which comes to mind is moving rhythmically to music. Some can't even do that, that I consider a non-dancer.
What Lauren is a professional ... what DD is ... a dancer! 😛

@Jake: That's a fair definition. I guess since I'm a dancer but not one by profession, I see it differently. Like a trained dancer vs an untrained dancer. But I see your point. Some people are just born with natural grace and knowledge of lines/forms and don't need training.

They should have there own private competition between them every week getting points for
Jhalak the professional dancers competition and then after the end last we will have two winners a professional winner and a non dancer to a dancer are vpoint two

wine

2. The rest of the acts should be all dances no drama and also the rest of the participants are non dancers so keep them in the normal jhalak

3. There should be no wild card entries at all or have a jhalak special with them one episode and then give points one day for voting and remove them to keep it fairer for those who have been there for day one.

4. Unfortunately colors can call drashti and siddarth madhubala and shiv because they own the channel and patent of the names.
They cannot call the other people such as shweta as prerna or sweety as colors does not own the patent
Basically the channel owns the character names and if colors mention it it's a trademark which they can be liable for. It's a copyright law trademarks and patent thing.
But even though the channel has the right to call Drashti n shiv as there screen names they should not and give them there own identity that's why they joined the show. They live there characters in the snow give them a chance to be themselves.

So what do you think

Great post👏 Finally a post to write good comments. 👍🏼
My opinion:-
1. Regarding the trained dancers i feel it is fine if the dancers are the celebrity like Lauren is ABCD actress and Kids are IGT winners. But the winner should be the one who improves the most as they said when making chang the winner against Sushant. So far only Shaan, DD, Sid have shown improvement. Ekta was the most improved but she got injured. And the JDJ history says trained dancers never win.

2. Completely agree.

3. Wild card entries are fine for me as long as they don't win. Last year i was not 0.01% happy by GC winning but that was the right decision because other 2 were Wild Cards.

4. I completely agree with your logic that colors own these names and have the right ot use them, but colors needs to understand the characters are not participating here. Its the Real person competing, They have thier own individuality. By promoting the screen names it may harm the contestants more . For Ex :- My Aunt voted for Drashti by writing MAD and the votes got rejected, then she asked me the code for Drashti to vote. I am sure some more people would have faced this problem. Its good to use screen names for the channel actors in first few weeks for getting familiar with the audience, But using it every episode is sometimes irritating.

Like to add some more points.

5. There should not be repetition of similar types of dance on 2 consecutive weeks.

6. Make the top scorer safe and bottom scorer unsafe. Face-off should be between the lowest voted and lowest scorer. Even if there is unfair voting for a good dancer, they can come back in the face-off.

7. Stop over promoting anybody. 👎🏼That way they dont win but Audience gets more pissed off. Sorry for bringing Other show but same over promoting happened with Delnaaz in Bigg Boss 6 till halfway of the show but she finished 6th, not even in top 3. 😕

P.S. Sorry for the long Essay. 😆
