Manish invading personal space.

I don't know if I'm the only one but I'm really annoyed with Manish taking his "jokes" to the physical level.

His comments and jokes are funny as long as he SAYS them. Getting close to the contestants or the judges...I personally don't think that's very funny.

Today he sat on Drashti's lap. A couple of times he carries Madhuri ji's pallu. Getting close with KJo. I think these people are just nice and don't take it to heart. However, Manish keeps repeating these.

I often watch this show with my mom and she dislikes it even more. You know there is limit to being funny. A funny attitude and comments is one thing but I think he is taking it a bit far.

Just my opinion. What do you guys think?

First of all, I wont say it's Manish's fault.. As the whole drama is scripted.. So I blame the script.. It's just 100 yr old script with NOTHING new to offer.. The witty humor is missing and such FLAT jokes are very difficult to take for days !!

As for Manish, I believe his timing and style of comedy is just perfect.. Given a proper script, he can ace it !! 😳

So yeah, JDJ needs a COMPLETE RENOVATION with new judges / choreos of better quality ( some are fine though ) / scripts .. The current one sucks !! 👎🏼

The whole act is scripted ! I think the contestants and judges would have been informed previously about these funny things!!

In that case, I agree with you. If they ask him to do this, then it's the script writers' fault. They need to realize the same old jokes aren't funny anymore.

Yes, I agree most of the time he is a good host. He keeps me engaged. I was just bothered by him getting so close. But like you all said that it is all scripted, I can't really blame him lol.

Manish is a great host and hilarious! As far as him sitting on Drashtis lap it was a joke and she probably knew that from beginning.
