JDJ 7 gave a kick start to viewers by the tagline of 'KUCH ALAG DIKHLA JA'.In my opinion it is a little bit different from JDJ 6 but still the theme remains the same, nothing was changed much.In JDJ 6 every contestant jumped out of his/her comfort zone and tried different dance forms, there were too many aerial acts which is a lot more difficult than other forms,we had many acts with salsa as a dance form.In jdj7 there 2-3 many contestants who actually repeated dance forms like free style and contemporary and there were i guess 1-2 aerial acts by contestants and what i missed most was my favourite dance form salsa! In JDJ 6 saneha and salman were the most versatile choreopartners.in JDJ 7 guess it is shampa tushar and punit.

Punit? 😆 he's only been doing freestyle this season and 1 or 2 other dance forms! 😆

I loved punit in last two seasons.
But this season some people really spoiled him and I haven't seen 20% of punit whom I loved last two seasons
He is doing freestyle every now and then.
Concepts are repeated too.

This time i am completely impressed with tushar. He definitely knows what he is doing and seems to be knowledgable in various dance forms. Ofcourse shampa is very good. Bhawana also made progess and I think this is the first time she came so far. Punit can do much better, but his concepts are good.

Well for me its very much similar but last year it had a different energy ...which is lacking in this season in spite of having great contestants (who actually can dance).

One thing i disagree with you is last year salman was not versatile... he was just like punit this year ... He played safe most of the time .. he had reasons too, as DD was having very hectic schedules and she was not a great dancer .. But they did some decent acts too...

Tushar was shining from the last season , with Ekta and Sana and this year too he is doing amazing with Shakti ... I like Deepak and shampa too ... some of Punits choreography was mind blowing but more of them are just mediocre ...

But overall i prefer last year season over this year season from the beginning to the the end to the IF forum ..it was lively ...

yes season 6 was better in my opinion too.my reason being there was more versatility. In jdj7 barely 2-3 contestants were trying something new while judges failed to notice this.In jdj 6 aerial acts were the charm and salsa ofcourse!

i agree Tushar has been experimenting a lot this season!
probably because he has a very strong dancer unlike last season
but even Jack impressed me

S6 was the best..Lauren and Punit simply ruled every week...Lauren was called back on public demand this year thanks to the stellar perfomances she gave last year
