BRAVO my new generation...my ultra broad minded indian ppl, my desi at mind intellectuals. Agreed madhuri is praised in each episode, gets OTT at times, she's made to dance with everyone who comes in etc but how does it terms her as desperate, she does what she's told to do by director or whoever. There are lot of people who love her a lot still. Probably she deserves all the praise. Indian telly is all about drama be it soaps or reality shows. They gota do whatever generates trp.
Let me ask u guys dont u cringe wen u see a SRK romancing girls half his age? Considering he is father of 3 kids and one that just happened.? I guess not cz indian society accepts males doing effing anything but females once they are married they should just hide in homes raising kids.? Huh?
Madhuris expressions comes naturally, she doesnt wana seduce anyone but it comes to her naturally when she dances. It's what she enjoys. I do NOT agree with ur broad minded opinion.
P.s Thank god Julia roberts and Angelina never quit hollywood and did roles they did even after being moms.
Oh Please! There is no gender bias or age bias here and this has nothing to do with Indian society! You will hear worse if something similar is aired on American Television for american audience!
Also please understand that we are giving our opinion on a reality TV show where Madhuri Dixit plays herself! If SRK were doing a reality show and girls half his age are flirting and begging to dance with him every 10 minutes we would have said the same thing about SRK. Now about movies (also totally different from a reality show) - in chennai express SRK played a 40+ years old man romancing a young girl . Madhuri can do the same thing in any movie..she can play a 40+ year old romancing 20+year guy - no problem! The issue here is the way she conducts herself in a reality show.
Since you brought up hollywood, let me ask you something - have you seen an american television show where every guest, every contestant singing praises of one judge over and over again? I watch a lot of American shows and I've never seen anything similar in a single american reality show! Show me one american show where a married celebrity judge is constantly praised, flirted, publicly admired and whatnot by every male who appears on that show. In fact you will hear lot more from Americans if a similar scenario appears on American television week after week!
About Julia Roberts..she is always dignified whenever I have seen her on TV!
Madhuri is an excellent judge, but the desperate OTT admiration going on every 10 minutes is just annoying and embarrassing. As viewers we are entitled to our opinion. The producers of the show can listen or not! As far I know many people are irritated and embarrassed by Madhuri's behavior on national television.
