Thats what I said indian tellys sell on drama factor. The JDJ team are more experienced and have done better research on knowing what sells and what doesnt. Madhuri sells like in kbc AB sells. Their praises by their fans sells. Jdj contestants in total awe of Madhuri sells. Public is a better judge and so called trps shows what public likes. Handful of people here hating or cringing watching madhuris praises doesnt matter. Dont like it then dont watch but calling her desperate and other names is no respect for a class actress like madhuri. 7 seasons have passed and if they are still going gaga over madhuri, I guess it means Madhuri sells.😉 Peaceout

please don't compare her with Amitabh...he is too good as the host of KBC...he is loved by all generation from kids to older people in KBC..FYI Madhuri was roped in 4th season of JDJ..we just can't stop watching JDJ bcoz of her..We have to tolerate her I guess..

Agreed madhuri is praised in each episode, gets OTT at times, she's made to dance with everyone who comes in etc but how does it terms her as desperate, she does what she's told to do by director or whoever. There are lot of people who love her a lot still. Probably she deserves all the praise. Indian telly is all about drama be it soaps or reality shows. They gota do whatever generates trp.

Let me ask u guys dont u cringe wen u see a SRK romancing girls half his age? Considering he is father of 3 kids and one that just happened.? I guess not cz indian society accepts males doing effing anything but females once they are married they should just hide in homes raising kids.? Huh?
Madhuris expressions comes naturally, she doesnt wana seduce anyone but it comes to her naturally when she dances. It's what she enjoys. I do NOT agree with ur broad minded opinion.
P.s Thank god Julia roberts and Angelina never quit hollywood and did roles they did even after being moms.

@Bold: Yes actually. I think it's disgusting, he shouldn't be playing a 20 something hero in ANY movie; same goes for Salman. I wish these ones would pass the torch over to the younger male gen actors- Ranbir, Ranveer, Arjun, Sid, Varun etc. and we won't get these old men with excessive amounts of make-up and photoshop (to make them look younger) romancing women on screen who could be their daughters.

Well.. this has nothing to do with being broad minded or desi minded or watever.. .and also no gender bias here... as far as shahrukh and other older actors are concerned..they r doing it in movies.they are "acting out the role they r given" .whereas JDJ is a reality show...u jus have to be urself...and we no where term "her" desperate...we call her actions desperate..desperate for attention...i have seen other reality shows in other channels..where u had shilpa shetty, karishma kapoor , sonali bendre as judges..and yeah people do praise them , its natural ..they are pretty actresses but i have never seen them doing thngs like Madhuri..many times we can even notice there discomfort when someone tries to go ott with them...if so many people feel she is trying to fish for compliments there must b something in her actions that make us think so..yes, there wld be people like u , who enjoy such "oh i am so pretty " act..but i guess lot many people who loved her for her acting and looks wld love her even more if she acts in a more dignified manner considering her age ...and considering the fact that her young boys wld b watching her...

Hey, quit playing the woman card here, that's old now. Try something new..
One would have the same irritating vibes even if a male judge is worshiped to the umpteenth level on a reality DANCING show.
This is a dance show, not a movie..
If Mads desires to be cast in a movie romancing with a actor of her age, BW is more than welcome to do that. Well you would've known if you watched Mads Dedh-Ishkiya.

Oh Please! There is no gender bias or age bias here and this has nothing to do with Indian society! You will hear worse if something similar is aired on American Television for american audience!

Also please understand that we are giving our opinion on a reality TV show where Madhuri Dixit plays herself! If SRK were doing a reality show and girls half his age are flirting and begging to dance with him every 10 minutes we would have said the same thing about SRK. Now about movies (also totally different from a reality show) - in chennai express SRK played a 40+ years old man romancing a young girl . Madhuri can do the same thing in any movie..she can play a 40+ year old romancing 20+year guy - no problem! The issue here is the way she conducts herself in a reality show.

Since you brought up hollywood, let me ask you something - have you seen an american television show where every guest, every contestant singing praises of one judge over and over again? I watch a lot of American shows and I've never seen anything similar in a single american reality show! Show me one american show where a married celebrity judge is constantly praised, flirted, publicly admired and whatnot by every male who appears on that show. In fact you will hear lot more from Americans if a similar scenario appears on American television week after week!

About Julia Roberts..she is always dignified whenever I have seen her on TV!

Madhuri is an excellent judge, but the desperate OTT admiration going on every 10 minutes is just annoying and embarrassing. As viewers we are entitled to our opinion. The producers of the show can listen or not! As far I know many people are irritated and embarrassed by Madhuri's behavior on national television.

Even my dad was saying same thing about her that she needs to be dignified like Hema Malini.
