Does anyone here has any idea of how the position of the contestants decided? What we know that it is 50% marks and 50% votes. Now I am presenting two scenarios, can anyone tell me which of the following is followed or if it something totally different.
  1. All contestant given a ranking from 1 through say 10(taking 10 contestant as example), maximum marks 1 and minimum 10. Same for votes, maximum votes 1 and minimum 10 and then both added the person with the maximum total ends up in bottom, the problem is the absolute numbers does not matter like there could be a difference between two contestant by 10 marks or 1lakh plus votes but ranking difference could be only 1.
  2. Each mark is assigned a certain number of votes or vice-versa and then according to the total the ranking is decided. The problem is every week the number of votes can change so, how to decided what would be the conversion factor.

I wanted to know this because of the confusion that is created for the elimination of Kartika etc. At least the fans would know the reason why someone is in the bottom 2 or 3 while someone else is not.

Yeah, even I want to know how the contestant position works

What do the judges marks count for, and how do the votes affect the position

I am sure some of the contestants have set up their people to vote for them (a la someone from BB last season- 😆)
